Talk about class. This 12,000-square-foot palace drips in it, from the 1,000-bottle strong wine case to the marble-, crystal- and gold-encrusted decor. The feasts are just as fancy, with standards like a cowboy-cut ribeye that is wet-aged for 28 days and sided sweet potatoes with maple syrup, pecans and Bourbon butter.
Don't judge a restaurant by its size. This matchbox of an eatery boasts some of the best Italian on this side of town and sports a BYOB policy to boot. Quick, grab one of those nine tables.
Ladies who lunch have plenty of reasons to linger here: The strawberry cake is divine, and so are the surroundings. With warm beige walls, iron hangings and faux French windows, the cafe makes for the ideal setting to practice bridge and sip on tea--pinkies out, of course.
It's difficult to find a restaurant that suits both families and cockailers, but this strip mall eatery--complete with DJ booth--manages to do both. Outside, singles sip on Pacificos and killer margaritas on the patio, while inside, families enjoy tamales and moist tres leches cake.
