Running Down. I know discount movie theaters should be given some slack for running down. I remember when this place first opened. Then I moved away, now that I'm back I'm disappointed at how run down it is.

I love that they get movies before some of the other discount theaters do and their Tuesday prices are exceptional. Still, it would be nice if they would clean up the smell. All in all, the movies are good and the staff is nice. Worth the discounted price.

IT'S ONLY A DOLLAR!. How can you complain about something that is ONE DOLLAR? Yeah, it smells, but who cares? It's A DOLLAR. I always notice it when I walk in, but the actual auditoriums never seem to smell, just the hallways. I don't care. So great if there's a movie you missed out on during its first run, or one you only kind of wanted to see but didn't want to pay for. Tuesdays are only fifty cents! It's not small and dingy like most $1 theatres, either, the outside is all big and bright and sparkly. New movies out every Friday, just like a normal theatre. It's so funny, this theatre opened up when I was a teenager - maybe fifteen, seventeen years ago, something like that, and back then this was THE theatre to go to. There weren't the huge megaplexes like today, most were like, attached to malls, with only four or five screens. Hollywood had like 12 or something, and you could get pizza and ice cream, and play games - and none of the other places had that stuff. I could never figure out how they made any money, because it can be so empty during the day, but I discovered it's almost all from concessions, so I usually buy candy or popcorn when I go, because I don't ever want them to close!

Pretty Good Theatre. Close to most Dallas area neighborhoods and easy to get to. 50cent Tuesdays. The seats are pilled up and dirty, the floor is always sticky, and the theatre smells a bit, but the price is worth the trip.

go on tusedays. yea well u see this is a good place to go see a movie i mean it only cost's one dollar. its good i mean ya the only thing is the bad smell and the high prices at the food stand

Cheap thrills!. This theater is a great way to catch a movie that you didn't have time to see when it first came out, or if you aren't sure that you're going to like it. You're only risking $1.00! I take my son there to see movies that I don't feel are worth blowing $8.00/ticket for. The only thing I don't like is that the theater must have flooded at one time...it smells bad. Wish they'd invest in having a carpet cleaning service come out!

GREAT FAMILY NIGHT IDEA. I took my granddauhgter to the HollyWood to see College Road Trip. I was very shocked to find the price was only a $1. The theatre is very well lit up with marque lighting in the front, so if you have to stand in line which we did not , it appears to be safe. Inside again is very bright and cheery. With a variety of appetizers, not just the normal cold shriveled hot dog or card board flavored chips with something yellow on it they call Nachos, this might even appeal to the younger crowd as dinner and a movie. There is a game center right next to the food court, and plenty of seating. The popcorn is great. The prices although of the "Movie Theatre snacks, popcorn, candy, pickles and even bottled water" is definately where they make up the difference in what they loose in admittance. You are going to spend $25-30 for 2 people. Unless you are one of those that chooses to carry a large purse that just happens to hold a pre-popped bag of pop corn and a can of soda. I recommend this theatre to anyone. BY THE WAY BEWARE OF THE SMELL. IT STILL SMELLS OF FEET 6 MONTHS AFTER THE THE PREVIOUS MEMBER NOTED IT. NOT SURE WHAT IT IS BUT ONCE INSIDE THE THEATRE IT IS GONE.

smelled like patitas. YOU KNOW THE PRICE IS GREAT(ITS A DOLLAR ) ,AND IT HAS PLENTY OF SCREENS ,,BUT THE PLACE SMELLED OF PATITAS(FEET IN SPANISH)AND MOLD -IT WAS PRETTY BAD ,I ACTUALLY FELT ILL AFTER I LEFT
