Built in 1930, the Cotton Bowl is still the venue of choice for many marquee sporting events and musical acts. The expansive main bowl and two upper tiers hold up to 68,252 fans who come for perennial draws like the University of Texas-Oklahoma University football game in the fall and the SBC Cotton Bowl gridiron match up at the beginning of each year. The art deco-inspired stadium also hosts international soccer games.
