In Short – Dedicated to the City of Dallas in 1995 by the Trees and Parks Foundation, Pioneer Plaza sits on just over four acres between the historic Pioneer Cemetery and the Dallas Convention Center. Robert Summers' unusually detailed, vibrant sculpture depicts cowboys on horseback driving 40 longhorns along what was the Shawnee Trail and is the largest bronze monument in the world. The plaza has unique Texas style and offers a wonderful, scenic venue for outdoor gatherings.

I like to take out of towners to see the sculptures. They know they're in TX with all of the cows and it's free!
