Editorial Review for Boi NA Braza – by Amanda Howe

In Short
An imposing portico and cupola roofed in red-clay tiles adorns this suburban churrascaria-style restaurant. Churrasco is the Brazilian cowboy's version of a barbecue skewer roasted over a pit. The menu has 18 different meat dishes that feature beef, pork, lamb and poultry. Brazilian waiters carve selections tableside. The salad bar displays fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses and Brazilian dishes. Desserts are a special selection of Brazilian sweets including papaya mousse and flan.

Save Money

Vegetarians and frugal diners can opt for the salad-bar only menu ($17.99 weekday lunch; $29.99 dinner).

What to Drink

A favorite alcoholic Brazilian beverage, the caipirinha, is a zesty mixture of fresh lime, lemon or strawberry with sugar, ice and cachaca, a product distilled from sugarcane.

the food here is comparable to fogo de chao, but the service has been consistently horrible. i prefer not to eat at chains, so i wanted this place to be good, but the people here make me so angry every single time! go to fogo de chao ... much more consistent with quality of food and service!

Pros: ribs

Cons: service: host staff and wait staff

I have been to Boi Na Braza twice and both times I was very pleased with every aspect of my dining experience. The facility is beautiful and very open, the wait staff is very friendly and accomodating, and the menu is vast. As soon as you indicate that you are ready to be served you will be intruiged by a constant flow of various meats that will be offered to you. Every cut has its own unique flavor. A couple were a bit salty, but overall that was not a big problem. They also have large dessert and "night cap" carts.

Pros: Great ambiance, Great food, Great service

Cons: Expensive
