Cozy place, great Thai eggrolls. Seems to be a hole in the wall, but has alot of potential. Service is somewhat non-chalant, or like guests are an intrusion to their TV viewing time. Thai eggrolls are fantastic and the cucumber sauce is awesome. The waiter/host is not overly friendly and doesnt offer up much original musings to food suggestions if wanting to try something new. Have ordered several dishes - noodle, rice, beef, chicken. Seems to be inconsistant, some dishes are phenomenal and others are like a bad experiment in the kitchen. How can crispy spicy chicken be so mushy & soggy? Waiter claimed it was okay when left kitchen but once at table it wasnt? The entire place is not much larger than 20x20, doesnt make sense. Jasmine tea is great when they serve it comes to the table hot. Overall, this is a good place and I enjoy it but has its lax moments in quality/service.

Best Thai food and prices are low. These Bums don't know what they are talking about I have eaten here 30+ times and is the best Thai I have had other than a place in Orlando. They can get it spicy hot if you want it . I usually order x2 what the highest star is which I ordered a 10 my first time here, holy man it was hot I now order a 5 star and add some fish sauce if needed . Very tasty food Kow Soy is good but I order the Basil fried rice with ground pork and hold the broccoli and have them add onions they do not mind for you to substitute. $12 please I have seen nother close to this even on the dinner menu. The coconut soup on Mondays which is free is great the service is good and they are nice people. I go here for lunch 1-2 times a week and have the wife meet me here sometimes she loves it to.

Great food and easy to find.

Wow, what a nice family run restaurant. I work in the area and friends had told me how good this place was so I went for lunch and had a very nice lunch. I got the Spicy Basil and it was delicious. We also got to help ourselves to soup or salad. I had both and the waitress said that was ok. I loved the souo and the peanut sauce on the salad was too good. I'll be back.

Best Coconut Soup I've ever had, quaint and romantic at night.. I don't know where these people ate but I walked into the Star of Siam at night and the lights were dim, candles and flowers on every table and had a very enjoyable evening. The dinner prices were $8.95 for chicken, pork or tofu. Our party had the best coconut soup in town and a great noodle curry dish called Kow Soy, We had a spicy big noodle that was very good and two tasty desserts.

Our server was very friendly.

Poor quality and expensive. I went to this place once... I was hesitant to order just looking at the ambience. But, went ahead. They charge an average of $12/dish and the food is below par. The place is like a dump for the price they charge. I ordered a chicken curry dish and there were a few pieces of chicken but filled with other vegetables. And a tofu dish had little tofu but a lot of filler veggies.

And like the previous reviewer said, I used my entertainment book coupon for the carry out order and I was charged me a 15%tip. I asked why? and she said they always charge a tip automatically. DIdn't want to argue further.

Poor quality food, poor ambience and bad service.

Poor carry out policy. I saw all these great reviews, so I wanted to order from the restaurant. I called them one evening to order carry out and wanted to use an entertainment passbook coupon. I was told that a 15% gratuity would be added to my bill prior to the discount. I'm all for tips, I've been known to leave large sums of money for good service, but I was ordering carryout! I should have a choice in tipping for carry out. I tried to talk to the manager a couple of times but the manager was not available, neither did I get a call back.
