Best tacos and burritos

I discovered this place in 2001 when there were only two tables inside and two outside and the line at lunch time was always out the door. They have since remodeled and added 6 booths and 4 two person tables. However, the food has remained consistently excellent. Huge burritos and awesome tacos for very little money. The best value is the huge burritos for $3.50. They have recently added lengua to their burrito filling options as well. Once you have one, you will never go back to Chipotle again. If you are not that hungry, then try the taco plate with bistek, barbacoa, or al pastor. I can't recommend this place enough for authentic, inexpensive Mexican food! Give them a try.

Wonderful Inexpensive Mexican Food

Okay, we ate at the new location on Harwood in Bedford, but I'm sure the food is just about the same. And how is it? Fantastic! The tacos were excellent. The burritos were a little dry. The Caldo de Res--out of this world! A huge bowl with tortillas and rice for $4.95! How do they do it?! They also have Menudo and Pozole. !Muy autentico! We'll eat here often.
