Bad management. Low quality compared to other sushi places.

* no prices on menu. I wound up ordering a sushi roll that was too small !!

* immigrant waiters. in rush hour. and not enough to service the tables. REALLY ?? it just creates long waits. Bad management.

* They mixed in other leftovers in my sushi. I found some of yesterday's lo mein. Whatever. I'm not coming back.

There are non-chain sushi places up the street that rock. This place is blech.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NAME. THIS PLACE IS A HELL!!!! THE BLUE FISH S U C K S!!!!

THEY DON'T DESERVE ANY STAR AT ALL!!!!

DON'T BE FOOLED BY OVER PRICED FAKE JAPANESE FOOD!!!!

THEY DISCRIMINATE ASIAN PEOPLE KNOWING THAT THEY'RE AN ASIAN RESTAURANT! THE MOMENT I STEPPED INTO THIS PLACE THE SERVERS LOOKED AT ME FROM HEAD TO TOE, LOOKING AT ME LIKE I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO PAY FOR THE FAKE SUSHI THAT THEY SERVE.

AFTER 45 MINS WAITING FOR MY ORDER, THE MANAGER AND THE SERVER CAME UP TO ME AND SAID THAT THEY HAVEN'T COOK MY ORDER SINCE THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON THEIR OUTDATED MENU. JUST TO COMPENSATE FOR THEIR MISTAKE THEY'RE WILLING TO COOK THE FOOD AS LONG AS I PAY THEM EXTRA.

I WALKED OUT OF THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AND WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!!

Great sushi in Addision!. My friend recommeded this restaurant and I'm glad she did. I have dined at many sushi restaurants and this one has been very impressive. The staff was attentive and fast. The ambient was friendly and cozy. I was however most impressed with the food. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend the yellow tail. Overall, I was satisfied with all my selections.

Go for the food! It's amazing!. With awards for The Met, D-Magazine, The Observer and Citysearch ( to name a few) I figured we pretty much could not go wrong with this sushi location. What we found was far BEYOND SUSHI! This sushi restaurant was amazing. The service superb and the freshness of the sashimi and sushi was just the start of this sushi adventure. We started with an appetizer of crab claws. These are fresh large claws with a light batter and stuffed. Wow! We then moved on to the Ahi tower ( once again fresh fresh fresh) this was a combination of Fresh tuna tarter based sesame oil over snow crab avocado salad, bedded on a sushi rice with a creamy wasabi sauce,,,,,,,, excellent! For the caviar lover we had the bluefish trio next, with fresh snapper, Scottish salmon and ahi tuna topped with various colors of the caviar family. Sauteed jumbo Scallops were next! WOW! These were lightly pan seared HUGE scallops, with a jalapeno sauce that was not too spicy and full of flavor ( if you are a scallop lover , do not walk, run to this location) I almost forgot the combo sushi plate and the black cod appetizer ( wow we ate a lot of sushi here) We finished off with the berry tower on advice from another Citysearch review, they were right! I would come back just for the dessert! Really, if you love sushi and you love fresh sushi, and you love great service and fantastic desserts, go to Bluefish now! Where sushi is not just sushi anymore???.the most fantastic, BEYOND SUSHI EXPERIENCE I have ever had!

HANS RAINA- General Manager. After having lunch at 1:54PM on July 8, 2008 with three co-workers, Hans Raina & an unidentified employee walked stood in front of the restaurant and pointed to my party. We got in the car thinking, maybe we left a personal item. My co-worker drove to the curbside and asked them, "did we leave something?, we noticed you staring at us." From the door, Hans stated, "yes could have left a decent tip". He then proceeded to approach the vehicle. He made comments about it being in North Dallas & it's a private club and they aren't obligated to serve certain clients. I stated that I am a vegetarian and didn't have any of the cuisine, I attended to accompany my friends, and he said "good". He tried to give an summary of their individual bill totals and misstated the amounts and what was ordered. My coworkers said, "obviously you have the wrong party, you must be referring to the group of four that left moments before we did." After behaving in an unprofessional and infantile manner he had no choice but to look like a complete idiot. We asked him for a businnes card. He said he would get one, but never came back outside. My co-worker went into the establishment and got a card from the front desk. In summation, it is shameful and a disgrace to encounter individuals that have no regard for patrons. Hans Raina is supposed to be the example of compotent and friendly management. I have never witnessed an incident like this in my life and hope that I never will. No one should experience a situation like this and guests should NOT patronize this establishment until they learn decency and respect.

Top-grade sushi and a young, beautiful clientele make this one of the city's most popular Japanese venues.. In Short
Slashes of chrome, sleek metal tables and cool tile make this hot spot a den of din. The menu features hibachi meats, but the restaurant's hallmark is sushi. A crispy jalapeno roll pays homage to Texas, combining firm yellotail, cream cheese and a spicy kick. The calamari roll marries tempura with avocado and cucumber; it's crunchy and sweet. Julie's roll wraps cucumber around pummeled salmon and crabmeat. Dessert includes tempura banana and green-tea ice cream.

Great place for sushi & drinks. Blue Fish is one of our favorite places to visit after work! The food is wonderful, and the drinks are usually perfectly mixed. I highly recommend sitting in the bar area which has a few bistro tables and comfortable couches; you can order food and drinks in this area, but I do not recommend doing so unless you have the patience...the bar waiters tend to disappear for lengths of time and are generally not overly-excited to take care of you. They have cheap sake a few nights out of the week, so try to visit them on those nights...otherwise be prepared to spend almost $10 for drinks (including well martinis and wine). If you take these tips into consideration, you will have a wonderful experience...but be forewarned, or else wait for a regular table in the back and play it safe.

Good Food TERRIBLE ATTITUDE!. So our food was great, but the service was arrogant. We began to filter in for our 1:30 reservation and were told that they did not seat incomplete parties. That would be fine, during a rush or if it were busy. Even if they told us when we made reservations. When we finally sat we were told that we had to hury and order because they close at 2:00. Well, if we hadn't had to wait for one or two people that wouldn't be a problem either.... We were asked if we wanted seperate checks, when we answered yes...the answer was "we don't do seperate checks!"....Didn't you just offer that?

When we broke up the check, one in our party paying with cash put the exact change in, and was told, "Mame we don't take change." How arrogant and rude! The only person who smiled was the server who brought our water.

NOONE APPRICIATED OUR BUSINESS NOT THE SERVER, NOT THE HOSTESS!!!!

DON'T GO!

Best sushi. The quality of the fish here is incomparable. Service was also great, didn't feel rushed and didn't feel neglected. What an amazing find for something tucked away in a strip mall!
