Great spaghetti. Fresh tasting noodles and extra large meatballs topped with delicious tomato sauce. Great ambiance and customer service.
Dry Noodles, Tastless Food.
We tried this place three times before we realized it's not just a fluke.
Just ordered - the noodles were dry, and there was NO flavor. It tasted like my husband cooked some noodles and squirted a little ketchup on top.
Never eating here again! Not worth the money at all!!!
Best Chicken soup. Always great service, great specials. try the macadamia crusted mahi mahi if its on special ever again! And the best chicken soup - LOVE their bread and oil musch better than macaroni grills
An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain..
In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.
Best Italian food in the city!. I used to go to Carrabbas in Houston on a regualr basis, and was delighted to see that they have expanded so much. To spite their many locations, Carrabbas has remained true to the family owned resturant it started out as. The quality of food is exceptional, and the price is reasonable. Carrabbas consistantly delivers great dishes, and I always look forward to going. This location is perfect for me and my boyfriend to go to after work. I have always had good service experiences here, and will continue to be a loyal patron.
AWFUL Service. We came in a a very slow Tuesday night and half the restaurant was empty. Once we were seated (in a back corner) it took 15 minutes for a waiter to even come over. After waiting another 15 minutes to get water, our waiter walked away without asking if we were ready, as though the closed menus on the table wasn't clue enough. He finally took our order on his third and apparentlt final trip to our table. Our food came 30 minutes later and my boyfriend had to get up and find someone and ask for our check. Our original waiter was no where to be found and then the cluster of 5 other waitstaff stood around just talking and avoiding eye contact so they wouldn't have to work. We paid, left no tip and called the manager the next day. The food was okay, but for the service, especially one a slow night was one of the worst experiences I've had. I won't be returning to this location.
