Loyal customer? and yes, bartenders have the authority to cut you off if you get out of hand.... may I recommend coffee or tea?
Good dive bar. My friend goes here all the time and loves the Karaoke on the weekends. I joined him one time (not for karaoke, just a normal night) and it was cool. Everyone knew each other. And even though I was "new," the staff was really nice and the dude that sat next to me at the bar even striked up a nice conversation before my buddy showed up. It's kind of hidden among the other businesses, but it's a good stop if you're in the area and in the mood for a dive. My only complaint, no shuffle board! hehe
Low-key neighborhood pub in East Dallas draws a 40-something crowd with great music and fun cocktails..
In Short
This is a place to chill. Carpet, faux brick dividers, warm lighting and plenty of well-worn tables erase any notion that this might be a fad-of-the-month hangout. The clientele is casual, comfortably dressed and eager to listen to an assortment of blues and country bands. The root-beer float, which adds a shot of schnapps to Bud, really does taste like the virgin kind. Patrons sip while they're playing pool or shuffleboard, or minding the stage.
