All you can eat... good food.
Celebration is all you can eat AND good. Classic homestyle scenery with homestyle food... small town feel in a big city. I live in the surrounding neighborhood and celebration is just one of the many great spots in the area. Good for take home.

Best comfort food!.
We've been coming to this restaurant for 10 years and have never had less than a 4 star experience!
The patio is almost always perfect, except on the very hottest Texas evenings. In cooler
weather the patio fireplace adds ambience to the warm heaters! The food is everything I would
expect to go back in time and eat at my grandma's house on a Sunday afternoon. Service is friendly
and quick, and the seconds and thirds are rarely needed but always appreciated!
John, the bartender, is always cheerful and fun to talk to on the rare evenings when we have to dine
inside. Great place to bring kids, large groups, and especially for a family gathering.

Great Family Experience.
Two families met at Celebration this evening to celebrate my brother's and his donor's recovery from kidney transplant surgery. I made a reservation and we were seated earlier than the scheduled time. The atmosphere was great. It reminded me of sitting around the kitchen at home. The food was hot and delicious. The portions were generous even with seconds! Don't forget dessert...it met the requirements of everyone's sweet tooth. Our waitress, Susan, was very pleasant and her service for a group of 15 was impeccable. Thanks Susan! The celebration was a success and so was the restaurant.

they would rather see their guests wait standing around for an hour, than to make reservations in advance!.
If you are looking for really, really excellent home made and 'comfort' foods, do yourself a huge favor and eat across the street from Celebration at the place in the little gray house called 'Eden' where the food and prices are better, and you can bring your own wine with you, so it does not cost a fortune!

Good place to take the family-but be sure to make reservations or you may have a wait!!.
Our daughter, her husband & our grandkids took us there as a surprise (because we'd heard so much about this place & were always saying we wanted to go).-It is a HOUSE that someone made into a restaurant, which made very homey. We enjoyed the breads & the mashed potatoes very much. And the fried chicken was very good.- I'd say this place is as good as we'd heard it was & I want to go back sooooon!!!

consistently "very good".
finally got to try celebration, and it is certainly worthy of all the hype. they are very generous with the food, and i'm pretty sure 'seconds' can be a different entree (if you're into variety). of all things. the fresh rolls/cornbread and the coconut cream pie were the best part of my visit, but I certainly was satisfied with everything else (fried chicken, potroast).

Like visiting an old friend.
I've been dining at Celebration for over 30 years, back to my college days when I was so poor I could only afford the vegetable plate and just ate the biscuits & honey for dessert. I moved from Dallas 22 years ago but still go back to Celebration anytime I'm in town, and have taken literally hundreds of students & friends there. No one has been disappointed. The food is simply the best you will find anywhere...unpretentious, fresh, expertly prepared, and AMPLE. This is the place I learned that vegetables can be really really good! I've yet to have a bad entree there, but my personal favorite is the baked chicken, and my wife tends to the Chicken St. Caroline. Come hungry, because you sure won't leave that way.

Classic comfort food served in a small, stone ranch house..
The Scene
It's not a typical home-style eatery. Wood-paneled walls are adorned with Native American rugs and black and white photographs of contemporary Texas ranch scenes. Small dining rooms provide a quiet, intimate atmosphere. It feels more like home than a family restaurant. But with sides served family style, it's no surprise to see three generations occupying one table.
The Food
The menu abounds in comfort food better than Mom's. Favorites are the meat loaf, pot roast and chicken St. Caroline. Having trouble choosing just one item? Don't worry--the restaurant offers seconds on any entree of equal or lesser value at dinnertime. Included with meals are stomach fillers like fresh seasonal vegetables served family style, homemade breads and choice of homemade soup, salad or fresh fruit. Adding on seconds makes it hard to save room for the famous cobblers and pies.

Something to Celebrate at Celebration!.
This is one of the best places to not only eat in Dallas if you are looking for good old fashioned cooking that will comfort you like no other. The value is amazing for what you get. The Jamaican Jerk Chicken will make you want to slap your momma... Now that I'm back in Dallas I'll be hitting it regularly....

All you can eat?!!? oh yeah.
i recommend making a reservation on the weekends. This is an old house converted into a restaurant and the menu is good comfort food. After I ate a chicken fried steak, I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter offered another. So, come hungry, because you will leave full.
