Green Sauce on Point. We arrived at 9am. Place and they opens then, so there was no wait. Coffee was good, and they brought water without asking. Huevos Rancheros was a crispy corn tortilla with a perfectly soft sunny-side up egg. Ranchero Sauce was excellent! Mayo on egg sandwich was overpowering. Bacon was tasty peppererd, but not as crisp as I like. Migas done right, and Green Sauce is on point! I will be back!

Manager/Owner VERY Rude. Enough Said. Don't eat there, Cafe Brazil is better. Mike, the owner, needs a reality check that he's a punk.

It was ok. You can get better food for the same or less money. It was OK, but I'm not eating there again.

Spinache Salad. It was wonderful! The Salmon was grilled just right, is was not slimmy or dry. The dressing had a great flavor but was not overwhelming. The spinache was really freash too. The servise was good, nothing wrong with it. I will be back for sure.

over priced. Because the owner or manager was very rude to me, I paid my bill but decided not to leave a tip. Today in my credit card bill I noticed he added a $10 tip.

AllGood is Great. AllGood is amazing. The City Search reviews are often ridiculous. Check out what those on Pegasus News had to say, it's far more accurate.

They have amazing food, or there would not be a line waiting every Sunday at Brunch and a plenty busy house most days. It's some of the most casual, relaxed feeling you can find in Dallas with great food. I've never had less than a really good, usually great meal at AllGood and we go all the time.

They always bring the checks early and ask for donations for bands, it's just their standard and worth the great food, atmosphere and bands (that you won't experience elsewhere in Dallas). And friends of the neighborhood get that. That's what makes the area great, it's a community restaurant with some ways of their own. It's like they say, a little Austin in Dallas.

It's well, well worth the quirks for those who love a great meal, an incredible collection of concert memorabilia and bands, and a vibe that's rare for such an otherwise valet parking oriented city. Down to earth is worth it.

Allgood - Just Alright. Took the family there last week and wasn't that impressed. Started w/ chips n' salsa - not too impressive. It was a tomatillo based sauce that was too thin and lacked depth of flavor. Followed that up with a club sammie. They served more chips (not giving me an option even though I already had a basket at the table) and a timble of bad cole slaw. The sandwich was pretty good though and a reasonable value for the price as well. The bread was fresh and had a perfect toast. I ordered a grilled cheese for my 3 y.o. While it was a fairly good grilled cheese, it was not worthy of its $6.99 price for a kid's item. Lastly, instead of a fountain beverage they serve canned drinks. I realize some folks like cans, but the whole pay for your refills isn't a great touch. Most likely we will not be back.

THE MOST AWFUL SERVICE EVER!!!! DON'T EAT HERE PLEASE..... It's All Bad at the All Good. I went last night with two friends, to have dinner and listen to some live music. I'd been once before over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed myself, primarily because of the music. Last night, my friends had called in advance to confirm that the band started at eight p.m. and no mention was nade of a cover. We arrived on time and we were told that the band would be at least an hour late..and would start after nine. We went down to Monica's and had a cocktail before returning to the All Good to get our table. We got settled at our table and ordered dinner just before the kitchen closed at nine. Fifteen minutes later the owner announced that he would come around with a bucket so everyone could "donate" ten dollars to the band. This was pretty suprising, as the server didn't mention this at any point that we would have to pay thirty dollars, in addition to our foood / drinks bill. When the owner came around to collect, we expressed our dismay at having to pay thirty dollars when we had not been told in advance. He responded by telling us that we would have to eat quickly and leave....that we couldn't stay and listen to the music. They brought our check at the same time our food was served, essentially saying get out! When I asked to ordered dessert, the owner told me no.

The cafe appears to be casual and cool, but it's clearly not. They could have easily made an awkward situation better by apologizing for not telling us at the door about the cover, or when we were seated, and confirming that in the future, we would have to pay to listen to the music. The owner clearly had a good concept for music, but he knows nothing of how to service customers or encourage people to come back. There are too many great places to be subjected to such bad service. OBTW - The food and menu is a mediocre attempt at home style cooking. Try any other restaurant in Deep Ellum before eating at this place.

Gives Austin a bad name.. Food is fair, I'll give the place that. But the attitude and service is deplorable. We walked in and stood waiting for someone to notice us when I saw the "hostess" staring at us from behind the counter, chin resting in her hands. She told us (after I had to directly ask her) that we could seat ourselves, after which she moved us to another location that she prefered. What's the point of seating ourselves?! When I inquired about replacing toast w/ a biscuit on one of their breakfast combos I was told "it depends on your server". I asked "ok, then... can I with you?" to which I was told "I'm not your server". The server we got wouldn't let me. The biscuits were hard, the gravy cold, the potatoes overseasoned. My companion dropped his fork and no one ever came back by to replace it. Our original table chosen was never occupied the entire time we were there. The table we were "moved to" was entirely too small for all of our dishes, so we had to use the one next to us for our overflow. I used to love AllGood. I've enjoyed breakfast there in the past, lunches, dinners and the music. There has been a slow, but very obvious, decline in quality and service. But this was the absolute worst. There is nothing about this place, save the music interest, that reflects the laid-back friendly attitude of Austin. All Good: please quit even suggesting a common bond - you're giving Austin a bad name. All Good Cafe now radiates the disinterested narcissitc vibe which is Dallas. Maybe management should take a careful look at the quality level of server they are hiring. They are losing what used to be loyal customers.

Good Service is everything, anyone can cook!. Last night, July 18th, 2007, my family of 6 went to this cafe. I had heard great things about the place and the food. When we went into the cafe, it was a little early and only two other tables had folks at them. The waitress sort of pushed us to give her the drinks orders up front. A little pushy, but

that's life. Menu looked great.

I was just getting over a lower track sickness and only wanted meat and a starch. The Salmon sounded good, but it came with green beans.

At the same price the shrimp came with a wild-rice side. I ask the lady waiting on us if I could subsitute the beans for the rice side.

She went to ask the cook and he said he would not do that. The menu did not say "no substitutions". Since the price for both dishes was $12.99, and the cook would fix the rice if I ordered the shrimp, I could not understand the cooks reason for not fixing the rice instead. He just did'nt want to.

I then ordered the Pork Chop that came with mashed potatoes and it was just O.K. (over cooked)

The day after we went there, I called and talked to the owner. He

said I could of had the rice, but it would have cost more to have it with the Salmon. O.K., Salmon/Shrimp, pretty close to the same cost to the cafe, so the side should not have been about a cost factor for them. Rice cost less than fresh beans. The cook just did not want to make the change even though the cafe was empty at the time.

The owner got mad at me for asking him to explain why and he said he was busy and couldn't talk about this anymore.

We only get to vote with our money and creating notes like this. I vote not to go back.

I think they are on a high for the moment, so service is not that important to them.

Someday they may want me and my family back and would be glad to switch the rice for the green beans just to have us coming to their cafe and spending about $100.00 on dinner.

Good Service is everything, anyone can cook.......
