Great food and service!!. Having never been to TX before, Saltgrass was recommended by a local for affordable and good steak. We took her word and loved every bite!! I had the Filet (med rare) and husband had the Tbone (med rare). They know how to cook their steaks! Came out perfect, extremely tender and a good deal given that the filet was $19.99 and the Tbone was $24.99 (?). We've been to Ruth Chris and besides the outside not being as charred, it was excellent!! Highly recommended!! Try their ShineRock (?) beer! Awesome! Great service as well! If we have time, we would like to go once more before we leave! (from Los Angeles)

Steak at the Saltgrass. The Saltgrass is pricy so don't think you'll get off cheap, but then things of value do have their price. Everything is as it should be even the bathrooms are clean. I had the Prime Rib and it was wonderful. Even my dad who has dentures could chew this after I took it home and re-heated it. The backed potato was average size but after having the generous portion of steak, it didn't need to be big. The salid was with fresh lettus and I suggest you try the house dressing.
