We Enjoyed our Experience with Kathy. My daughter and I just had a great experience at Stardust today. Although we didn't have an appointment there wasn't the pushback I was anticipating. When we first walked in, the first floor receptionist greeted us but wasn't engaging at all. I was put off with her but didn't want to start the day off in a negative way for my daughter's sake. After walking around the first floor taking it all in, my daughter asked about a fitting. We were told a consultant could take us upstairs. Once we met Kathy, she took over and I was very impressed with her professionalism, helpfulness and attention she gave my daughter even though she was told the budget is under $2,000. After walking around with us looking at dresses, Kathy delivered 7 dresses that were a combination of what my daughter wanted and what Kathy thought would be most flattering. During the fitting, we couldn't make up our minds which looked best; one after the other was simply beautiful and was immediately our "favorite". After my daughter tried on the dresses for the second time, her bridesmaid asked Kathy if she would go downstairs to get a dress that first caught my daughter's attention (which was half the price of the ones she already tried on). Without hesitation but with a smile Kathy returned with the dress. Turned out to be the least flattering on her. The first dress was the one selected.

Kathy's recommendation for veil, accessories, etc. was perfect. And keep in mind my daughter has definite ideas and knows exactly what she wants.

I'm not an easy to please person and will not buy from a snobby establishment. I'm a sales trainer and have been in sales for more than 20 years at a Fortune 500 company. It's refreshing to find a professional who makes you happy to spend your money because she knows her product, loves what she's doing and is makes her clients' time enjoyable.

Although I'm sure the negative reviews here are real and were painful for the brides and families, there must have been personality combinations that didn't match and made the time miserable for both sides. We were well-matched with Kathy. I haven't seen her name in the reviews but if you go to Stardust ask for Kathy.

Horrible Beyond Words. TRAMATIC and VERY PAINFUL!! I tried on my very first wedding gown at Stardust Celebrations yesterday. The girl helping me in the dress actually pinned the dress to my back. She didn't just poke me a little. She actually pushed the straight pin through the dress, into my back, out of my back and through the dress again. I yelped and started crying. She let go of the dress when I yelped and the weight pulled on the pin. When she realized what happened, she removed the pin. She was very apologetic and she went to get the owner. We waited for several minutes for the owner to show up and when she came through the door, she rolled her eyes at me and shrugged. She looked at my back and said that she didn't see a mark. I have posted pics on my facebook of the injury to my back. There are two distinct pin holes with a long red line spanning between. All of that is surrounded by a 2 inch diameter red swelling. The owner acted like I and my family were a complete waste of her time. Please BEWARE!!!

Best place in America to get a wedding Dress. This weekend I accompanied one of my best friends in her journey to find a knock out wedding dress.

We went to a chain bridal shop and left within 10 mins. (Just wasnt for us). We then went to Priscillas of Boston and almost asked to leave because we didnt have an appointment. We then dropped in Stardust Celebrations and thought we might be in a place that we couldnt afford.

Well we were wrong!!!!!!!!!! We got in and tried on the MOST outstanding dresses in the world!!!! We were loud opinionated and asked too many questions!!! We had a blast but the best part of this experience was the staff!!!!!! They allowed us to try on dresses out of our price range and gave us the ultimate experience.

My friend purchased her dress the next day and is walking on clouds!!!!

THANK YOU STARTDUST FOR AN AMAZING WEEKEND!!!!

Angels Exist. What a great experience I had at Stardust Celebrations. I needed a dress for my son's wedding asap. I had a wonderful lady named Myra, who picked out the perfect dress for me. Both my husband & myself were so impressed. We walked out with the dress & shoes ordered without any trouble. She was my angel that day!!

Fairy God Mothers Do Exist!!!!!!. Fairy God Mothers Do Exist!!!!!! I am planning a Wedding for the Winter of 2011 and I am on a tight budget and have curves. I was nervous about going into Stardust Celebrations because I read and believed reviews from this site. I really wanted to try on a Victoria Nicole and this place was theonly place I could do just that. I went in and had a WONDERFUL time! I was treated like a queen from the moment I walked in! The owners were there the day I went and made me feel as if I was a millionaire. My size didnt matter and the staff kept telling me how beautiful I am.

Thank you StarDust Celebrations for making my every dream come true! Your the best. I will make sure everybody knows how wonderful and fantastic you all are!!

Wedding mania - in a good way!. I really enjoyed finding my wedding gown at Stardust! I had gone to a couple of other shops and seen some beautiful gowns but just wasn't feeling like I found "the one". I was starting to get nervous so I charged ahead and made yet another appointment, this time with Nancy at Stardust. Whoa, I walked into the shop and was blown away. It was wall-to-wall wedding stuff - so fun! I got there early so I had time to look around. I couldn't believe they had everything you'd ever need for yoru wedding - mother dresses, bridesmaid dresses, gifts, invitations, tuxedos and jewelry and veils. I was in HEAVEN! A few of the store's staff offered to help me once or twice but were not in my face, giving me a chance to browse. Then, it was time for my appointment. Nancy was great. She was very nice and seemed to get the vision I had in my mind and respected our budget. She brought some gowns she thought met those requirements and that would work with my shape. At long last, I found MY wedding gown! We ordered a Simone Carvalli gown that I am so in love with. It is so beautiful and so dramatic. I can't wait for it to come in. I had a wonderful experience and am telling all of my friends that stardust is the place to shop for a wedding gown!

Awesome Service!. Stardust was the second place we went to when trying on dresses. We immediately were welcomed when we arrived and I was working with Wendy. I am a VERY indecisive person and Wendy was phenomenal in helping me. We tried on quite a few dresses and narrowed it down. I went back a second time to try on the final three and she even called the makers of the dress to see if they could make some changes. Once she got the information she immediately send me an email letting me know what they said.

This place is exactly what has been in my head when I dreamed of trying on wedding dresses. It's fantastic, the staff is professional and helpful and their dress selection is amazing!

Family Affair. My niece intended to shop at Stardust for her wedding dress but most of their dresses were beyond her price range. Melissa Lemons, her bridal consultant at Stardust suggested she look at their smaller boutique, Lulu's. We were so impressed with the variety of dresses they had (all in her price range) and with the excellent service. Melissa did a wonderful job of ascertaining what my niece wanted in a wedding dress. She helped her see what dresses could achieve the look she wanted and suggested alterations to some dresses that would make them look even better. There were four of us tagging along to help the bride make her decision. Melissa and the rest of the staff made us all feel so comfortable and pampered. It was a wonderful experience. When it's time for my daughter to buy a wedding dress, we will definitely go to Stardust!

The Bridal Boutique I was looking for all along.... I purchased my second, yes second and FINAL, wedding dress from Stardust. I worked with Wendy and Marsha. I had fallen in love with a dress from the Bliss line. We rushed the order. The dress came in a week later than it was estimated to come in. Wendy worked with me and returned all my calls when I was panicking about my dress. She made sure that I worked with Kayla to get my alterations in time for my bridal portraits even though the dress came in late. Marsha talked to the wedding dress designer and got my rush fee back since it was late too! Wendy, Kayla, and Marsha are all WONDERFUL! These people all meant so much more to me because I actually live 5 hours away from Plano. My dress was beautiful at my wedding and I owe it to Stardust!

We had a great time at Stardust!. My daughter and I went to Stardust last weekend looking for her gown. We had a blast! She could not commit to "the gown"

but she knows one of the 2 will be "the one".

The experience was everything I wanted for my daughter, smiles, laughs and a few tears when I saw her so happpy. I had been there before with 1 niece and 1of my duaghter's friends and all 3 visits were great! I thought the sales people were all super friendly and interested in my daughter's wants and my concerns about the expenses.

We plan to go back in the next week or so and pick the right gown. It's not long till July so we have to get busy.
