Great Italian food!. I really love this place. The food is great and the service is too! I highly recommend and will be going here a lot in the future.
seriously this place rocks. been at both cafe amores many times over a period of a few years never been disappointed. the food is awesome and so are the people that work there, i have seen and had the same waiters for over 7 years. this place is a family owned restaurant i think the only thing they got going on against them is that they have made it look too fancy and people have much higher expectations when they go in but come on have a look at the menu prices, love the byob fee free fact . try it, try it, try it!!!!
great food, great service. I've eaten at Cafe Amore several times and have nothing poor to say about it. The staff is very accommodating and the management is impressive. I was in the restaurant while a woman was belligerent because of a previous issue and the only thing that ruined my experience was her. I would take my family, friends and dates to Cafe Amore.
Terrible Service and Rude. We booked a table for 25 for our wedding brunch. I have always enjoyed other locations of this chain, but my experience at the Plano location was terrible. I talked with the manager two times in advance to make sure all the details we agreed to would be taken care of. They did not follow through on their commitment. My guests who arrived early had to light the candles and finish setting the table. The service was atrocious, because they were understaffed. One of my friends took care of the situation by refilling our glasses. We were served enough bread for only a few people and they only brought out the dipping sauce when I requested it (This is typically a part of each dining experience). Some of the guests received lukewarm food. The second round of bread was still not enough for all the guests and we waited 30 minutes for it to arrive. When the waiter (actually a manager) finally took our order he asked me, in front of my guests, about the price I was paying for each person's food! We were allowed to bring in our own desert and they had refrigerated it over night. The waitress brought it out without telling us and just left it on a side table. It wasn't until my guests were leaving that I even noticed. A friend stayed after our meal to repack our table decor items to bring to us. The manager grilled her about the dining experience making her extremely uncomfortable. I had accidentally left behind our wedding license and they did not have the courtesy to use the number I had left for the original reservation. I stopped back by to see if they had the license and while there spoke with the manager about the poor service. He only offered excuses while the owner became extremely belligerent. I have nothing positive to say about the Plano location of Cafe Amore on Park.
Great food. Great ambience. Much improved service.. In my previous review, I talked about how bad the service was. Boy, how things can change! I submitted a similar review on the restaurant's website because I felt they had a right to know about my experience. What I didn't expect was an email back from Denis, one of the owners. He was very apologetic and told me that my review actually was a wake-up call. He even said that he printed out my review and read it out loud to all the employees. He invited my wife and I to the restaurant so that he may give us a full apology in person. I'm pleased to say that our last visit was exceptional. The service was much better and, as a bonus, Denis offered us a free meal. Even then we still tipped the waitress really well (a $20 bill). Denis was very warm and friendly and it's obvious that he's passionate and really cares about his restaurants. Every business makes mistakes and I believe that every business is entitled to a second chance it they really want it. It's obvious that Cafe Amore really wants the business. So give them a chance. And if there's something you don't like, don't hesitate to let Denis know. Feedback is important and the folks at Cafe Amore are all ears. :)
