NO COMPLAINTSSSSS!. In all honesty, my family has been here for MANY years and if we have ever wanted to order Chinese for delivery, this is the BEST place to get it from! Their food is amazing, always arrives fresh and hot not to mention EXTREMELY fast!! They are always polite and very professional. There is a reason this place never closed down, and with the latest management, I feel that they are doing better than ever. If you don't like the restaurant, that's your problem, but if that's the case, don't doubt their quality, try delivery instead!! :)

Red Lantern Chinese Restaurant In Mesquite, TX. I had dinner there twice after their grand reopening in begining of this April. Food is great. Big selections. And the price is good. I can't get the same buffet with this price anywhere else. I went to Great Wall Buffett in Frisco last saturady, almost same food, price is twice as much as Red Lantern in Mesquite.

Red Lantern Improved. I decided to try Red Lantern because it said it was under new management. My phone order was taken and the hostess was very nice and polite. My food was delivered promptly and the delivery guy was nice also. The food was good, the portions were large, and the food was hot. I have no complaints ... at this time.

Sorry, no.. There's a whole lot of Chinese buffets in Mesquite, and going into Red Lantern really felt like I stepped foot into a 3rd World country.

no more. We use to go here quite a lot. The service has gone way down and the food is cold and stale. We have not visited for over a year now. We found better places in Balch Springs and Seagoville.

Under cooked Food. Have had good experiences in the past, however we ordered a chicken dinner that was undercooked, tough and did not taste like it should. When I called to complain they said nothing could be done and that no one has complained about this and my order was the way it should be (not correct as we have ordered the same item several times before and know what to expect ).

I was told that they did not care if I ordered from them again.

Uninvited guest. I was having dinner with my fiance. Food looked OK. Price very reasonable. The manager inspected the bar area, frequently. On one of my trips to the food bar I noticed a "Periplaneta americana" deciding which vegetable to go for. Needless to say I left immediately and will never return. I have not eaten Chinese food since. I am sorry that the rating system doesn't allow for minus stars.

Best Chinese Food. I have lived in Mesquite for over 2 yrs now, and this is the closest Chinese restaurant that delivers. Great food, reliable and always courteous. Would recommend if you dont want to drive or cook after a long day at work.
