Editorial Review for Perry's Restaurant – by Jeff Speicher
The Scene
Perry's is gently lit with snappy contemporary jazz playing softly overhead. Split into three separate dining areas, the main dining room is full of tables for four, with single shaded candle lights. The room is flanked on either side by a pavilion lined with majestic booths and a smaller area that is blocked off with stylish wood-wicker folded partitions. A sharp waitstaff practices timely etiquette and is quick with the crumbler.
The Food
The stuffed mushrooms with crab are a good starter, with spinach salad doused in a vinaigrette. The rib eye has a flavorful peppery rub and blackened charbroil that seals in a savory flavor. A rosemary glaze on the thick cut of domestic lamb is tantalizing. The 18-ounce New York strip also has a perfectly seared, crisp exterior with a delectably tender, pink inside. The cheddar-smothered potatoes au gratin is a popular side.

I have ate in many restaurants from coast to coast and this place has to have some of the best steaks. the taste was perfect,(of course no sauce needed) and the sides were wonderful. The atmosphere was very upper class feel and the bar scene was very casual/business feel. the mix drinks we had were exceptional. We spent over $120 for two of us, but it was well worth it. Make reservations because you will need them. Leave the kids at home, because this place is built for one thing only ADULTS. Romantic place for you and your loved one.

with all the steakhouses in DFW it's hard to try all of them. if you haven't tried perry's yet, maybe it's time. the filet and lobster we had were both of very high quality, and the tuna tartare appetizer had kind of a "volcano roll" flavor. if you're ordering wine i would suggest you go by the bottle (the list is extensive but not overwhelming) since the markup on glasses and 1/2 bottles is significantly higher compared to most i've seen.
Pros: high quality steak and seafood
Cons: definitely not a budget buy but priced similar to other high-end steakhouses
