love this place! great patio, good drinks and music in a casual atmosphere
Unique Patio Bar – This is truly a unique place. Fun music, fun people and a fun atmosphere. It's like being in Key West without leaving Dallas. Obzeet is a nice change of pace from the usual bars in Dallas.
The parking situation has gotten better.
Bad Food and Drinks, WAY Over priced – We started the evening out with 2 drinks that had to be returned. Even the waitress admitted that there was a problem with people complaining about bad drinks. Then, we ordered the famous Tramazzino sandwich for $14. $14 for a sandwich!!! Are you kidding me! It was not good, and I will never go back to this restaurant again. I ended up paying over $50 for 2 weak drinks and 2 terrible sandwiches...whata joke. Do not go to this place. If you don't believe me check out my username. I made this account because this place is that bad.
Need More Parking! – My gal pals and I normally love this place but after our friends car got towed, we will not go back! After being there for ten minutes, the surrouding businesses towed customer's cars even though it was after business hours for them! When we asked where was safe to park when the two lots by the restaurant were full, we were told to park across the street or behind in dark alley/street- both VERY dangerous! This place used to be great but is quickly going downhill. The atmosphere is great and the music is lots of fun but parking could not be worse. The menu is a little expensive but you are really paying for experience. However until parking is fixed, my friends and I will not be returning. Be warned, from reactions we got and what other customers were saying, it has been like this for a while and it is not getting better. What a shame for such a neat place.
My favorite garden bar/restaurant – Love it,Love it,Love it....The tramezzino sandwiches are to die for.Music on thursday nights is great sitting outside.Service can be a little slow,But you probably need to slow down anyway.I eat here about once a week. It's a must try...
Surly Owner, Overpriced (Bad!)Food and Drinks, HORRIBLE customer service!! – I went to this joke of a eatery with a couple of friends, one who was not feeling well. Upon entering my ill friend asked the female owner (A tall Russian or Slavic Woman) what fresh juices they had. She answered with a surly "We have NO fresh juices", she could have been a little nicer about it! We almost left right then but we thought we would see how the food was. I was shocked to see the menu that had TEN DOLLAR SANDWICHES! I refused to order the overpriced fare, but my friend did and got a sandwich (after the surly owner brought him the right one!) that was tiny and looked like a five year old made it. My friend said it was OK. OK for $10 would have made me angry. I ordered iced tea and got some kind of fruit tea, the first glass was OK, but when Surly Woman refilled it, it tasted like the fruit they put in it, or the mix was off. So I called Surly over and told her it was off and I would like to trade it for a Sprite. After eating some run of the mill buffalo wings ($4.99 got me 4 wing-ets a total of 2 whole wings RIP OFF!!!) we got the bill and noticed Surly had charged me for Iced Tea AND Sprite at $1.95 each. When I confronted Surly Woman she said "You drink, You Pay, you had two glasses of tea and one of Sprite, we have to charge you". I was so upset that I was being treated like this I agreed with her to get her out of my face! Lucky for her my friend paid the bill because I would have left $0 tip. DO NOT GO TO OBZEET, you will leave hungry, broke and insulted.
This place is a rip off. – I went there with a group of friends on a saturday night. The service was slow, but they were busy. The drinks were a little on the expensive side. The food however; was TERRIBLE to all of us with out exception. The BIGGEST SHOCK was the fact that we ended up getting charged $10 just for the table because they get busy on the weekends. That is not acceptable whatso ever. don't go there.
Best outdoor patio! – I cannot believe this place has not been mentioned before. It has a great outdoor patio with a tropical garden. Excellent live music, great drinks and food, and a nice staff. I love this place and there is no other place like it in Dallas.
