In Short
With a WWII feel and design, the Granada once premiered movies like "Ben Hur." Today, a symphony of gobo lights and billowing fog enhance performances by local and regional bands in this cozy performance venue. Walls are adorned with murals of movie icons from years gone by. A handful of concertgoers get a bird's-eye view from a small balcony, while others munch on pizza and tacos.

For and old theater , it had a wonderful art deco aura about it and the seating was great with cocktail tables and long bars to set your drinks and food on. The concert i saw was Brandi Carlile and it was sold out. Best to get there at least an hour early and park in the Granada parking lot to avoid walking a distance. The staff was very helpful in taking you to your assigned seats and were very courteous. Nice and cool air conditioned seating area and very well policed. A great sound system and. I WILL attend many more concerts there and recommend it to any music lover

Sound is good, stage and floor are designed so all can see which is a huge plus if you get in late or are short. Solid beer selection as well, a good place for a show. Two questions, why is the parking so expensive, and what's with the advertising on large screen TV's? sort of obnoxious.

Movie theater architecture makes for great live music, but not even close to the atmosphere at Fort Worth's Ridglea Theater. Bigger acts, though, with bigger ticket prices, of course. PARKING is $8 (eight) DOLLARS. They don't mention this in ads or by phone. Don't park yourself! Towing is Big Business all down Greenville Ave! Parking is Fiercely guarded by all businesses and Residents! And crime IS a Consideration.
