very poor conditions. This last Christmas my dogs stayed at Benny's Dog Resort for 1 week. Unfortunately when I got my dogs back their bedding was completely ruined and they certainly did not smell much better.

My dogs were extremely sick and shivering from being wet in the cold Dallas weather. I have 1 very large Yellow Lab and 1 small English Cocker Spaniel. The lab had kennel cough for 2 weeks and lost 10 lbs from his stay. The cocker spaniel lost about 4 lbs. I know they are running around but this weight loss is pretty extreme.

When I tried to bring this issue to the owners attention he argued that he was not responsible and that all I was calling about was $$$. He argued with me for 15 minutes belittling my dogs health condition with comments like "its just the common cold".

At the end of the argument he did agree to pay for the vet visit but honestly ALL I cared about was the health of my dogs certainly not the money. All I wanted was an apology and a simple is there anything I can do...but instead all I got was him putting me down saying that I was being ridiculous to be so concerned. I hope every own knows about this story so that maybe one day Benny will stop being the typical business owner and start caring about the animals instead of the money.

Dexter says it's the best!. I bring Dexter to Benny’s Dog Resort when I go out of town. Dexter is my baby and I would not leave him any other place. They treat him as if he was their own dog. Dexter eats a raw diet and they have no problem feeding him accordingly and don’t even charge to administer his medications. I book him for the VIP suites and it is well worth the money if not just for my own peace of mind that I am giving him the closest environment to home as I can. He’s pretty laid back so I love how he can stay inside and hang out with the other dogs or go outside and roam around as he pleases. It’s always quiet when I go in and they always have soft peaceful classical music playing. I wish they made hotels like this for people!

Great Place! Wouldn't go anywhere else!. I am a teacher in the dfw area and work crazy hours so Benny's Dog Resort is like a second home for Germs (yes my dog is named Germs). Germs has gone to Benny's Dog Resort for about 3 years. Since he was 6 months old. There is so much indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to run around. And, since Germs is like my kid they send me pictures of Germs playing in the pool or on the pirate ship. It's great. Benny and all of his staff are the best! I have known all of them for almost 3 years and trust them with Germs. He has fun and plays all day, I wouldn't take him anywhere else. :-)

Great Place to leave your pooch. I've used Pet Stay N Play (now Benny's Dog Resort) for several months now, and am completely satisfied. Roscoe is excited to get there and very worn out by the time I pick him up. The play area is large, and the prices are great. Highly recommended!

A home away from home!. From the first time I visited, I loved Pet Stay and Play. The yard is HUGE, they have a big pool for the dogs to play in, the staff is energetic and I have never had any problems. They dont have a groomer but you have the option of getting your dog bathed before you pick them up and thats enough for me! So many of the dogs go there all the time- that they actually have little groups of friends! The dogs seem truly happy, and you can tell that they love the staff as well- they never want to leave them! I would recommend Pet Stay and Play to anyone that is interested in day care- or boarding- they are safe, and they aren't afraid to turn away overly-aggressive dogs!

Great daycare and boarding for a great price. My dog Coco goes to daycare a few times a week and loves it. He plays with Thunder, a previous reviewers dog. When I'm out of town I have no doubts about leaving Coco with Benny and the girls at Pet Stay and Play. I know Coco will have fun and play all day, unlike PetSmart where they stop playing at 5pm and charge more! The hours are great, 7am to 7pm. The dogs that board there play until 9pm I'm told. When I bring Coco home, he's worn out and sleeps all evening and the next day! The small dogs and big dogs are separated so there are no injuries to the little ones. They trade off between their crates for napping and the play area every hour. But don't fret, the dogs are so tired from playing that they need the time to rest. I picked up Coco the other night, and he didn't even want to move he was so tired. I drive an extra half-hour before and after work because I can't find another pet daycare that's as good or has as good of prices. I mentioned it the other day, and another woman says she does the same thing. That's loyalty. Coco and I love Pet Stay and Play. Come check it out yourself!

Best dog daycare and boaring. I love taking my dog to Pet Stay and Play. The first building was ok but now that they have moved it is awesome. They have a backyard that is the size of a basketball court. My dog is a little unruley with people, but she took to Benny the owner like a kid in a candy store. I work long hours so when I come home I am not in the mood to go on a 3 mile walk to wear her out. But with her going to doggy daycare, when I get her home she goes and hides in her crate and doesn't come out till dinner time then I don't see her for the rest of the night. I love it!!!!!! I hope that you try Pet Stay and Play, you will like it as much as I do.

The best doggy daycare ever. I have been taking my dog, Thunder, to Pet Stay & Play since Oct 2004 for daycare while I'm at work. The staff is so caring and energetic, that it gives me peace of mind knowing that Thunder is getting the affection and exercise that he needs and deserves. I couldn't imagine more responsible, loving, endearing people to leave my "baby" with. When I open the back seat of my car in the mornings at their parking lot, Thunder jumps out and can't wait to greet his friends. Thank you Pet Stay & Play!
