Addison >Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill
Great Seafood and Service. My husband does not care for seafood, so a girls night out was the perfect time to go to one of my favorite restaurants. We started with an amazing infused martini (forgot name!!) I had the Baked Mahi Mahi Mediterranean style. It had olives, capers, white wine and saffron. I can still taste it! Friends had the Oak Planked Salmon and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and Crabmeat Stuffed Shrimp. Can't wait for another girls night out!!
Having recently moved back to Dallas, I was excited to live near Addison with all of it's wonderful restaurants!! But I'm really just a seafood junkie. I've been to Oceanaire, Remington's, Trulucks and now Chamberlain's, and was disappointed with all but one. Chamberlain's, unfortunately, is toward the bottom of the list, especially if you factor in price and service!!
I eat at Houston's regularly and consider their service to be a 9/10, Chamberlain's is maybe a 6/10. Their food was a 4/10, and the atmosphere is a stuffy 6/10. Unfortunately, it was the price v. quality issue for me; I simply can't justify spending over $180 with tip for seafood that had obviously been previously frozen and was over-cooked, their "lump crabmeat" crabcake had pieces of imitation crab in it.
Best Seafood and Service. What a great restaurant!! You can tell that this is a well run restaurant. All the food we ate was superb. My wife had the Steak and Lobster and it was the best she ever had. The Steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster was sweet and tasty. I had the Seabass and it was the best piece of fish I have ever had. My brother had the Scallops and they were perfect. The server was as good as it gets. He was very accomdating and helpful with our special requests and recommended a great wine to compliment the meal.......perfection!
Did Not Meet My Expectations. My husband and I ate at Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill for our anniversary. He played it safe and ordered the pecan crusted trout and enjoyed it. I love scallops and order them whenever I see them on a menu. So, I ordered the Maine Diver Scallops and was very disappointed. Overall the flavor was good, but for a restaurant of this caliber, you would not expect to bite into ocean grit with each chew of a scallop... gross! I have had scallops at mid-level seafood restaurants and no ocean grit, so I know it's not an inherent thing when ordering scallops. Will not be running back to Chamberlain's any time soon.
FRESH seafood. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last month and it was absolutely amazing. Hands down best birthday dinner I've ever had. He planned it so that the date fell on the day there was a cooking demonstration AND wine dinner - so thoughtful! I remember my first course vividly because the alcohol paired with the dish was something i've never tried. It was a mango crabmeat roll with a saketini made with tyku. The mango in the roll complimented the citrusy taste of the drink perfectly! I also really liked the last dish of the banana rum flambe with plum wine. I still smile when I think of dinner at chamberlains, thanks for such a great experience!!
Best Seafood Dining in Dallas. Fresh seafood, impeccable service, quiet ambiance - a "destination" dining experience
Terrific Food; Terrific Place. We have always enjoyed our experience. The food is consistently good; the service is pleasant and timely. We look forward to returning again and again. Creative specials have been very much appreciated--especially surf & turf; 3 course lobster dinner, etc. Keep up the good work.
Consistantly fresh well prepared seafood.
Whenever we want great seafood we think Chamberlain's. Professional, friendly, attentative staff takes their time without you feeling they are selling you.
Never had a bad meal because they are consistant on freshness and preparation. Wines are very complimentary to the food & are reasonably priced.
We have also hosted a large party & found them to be very accommodating to our needs. Our guests were very complimentary about the party & their dinning experience as well.
Chilean Sea Bass!!!.
I always order Chilean sea bass.. I just can't seem to get away from it! Chamberlain did an amazing sea bass! The server paired it was a tyku Saketini, which was the perfect combination of flavors. My husband tried the Ahi Tuna which was a bit over cooked and lobster mac and cheese.
I've never heard of lobster mac and cheese but whoever did is a genius!!!!!
