The Scene – Blond-wood rafters, white tablecloths and a dark wraparound bar create a clean, almost Norwegian setting. Brick inlays and touches of brass add sophistication to the four dining areas. Details such as ice water with orange slices and vintage commercial fishing photos show finesse. – – The Food – Truffle oil and Parmesan cheese deliver delectable matchstick fries. Calamari is thick and tender. A lovely grilled Atlantic swordfish tops a mound of fragrant saffron rice and garlicky sauteed spinach. The filet mignon and Australian lobster tail combo woos both…

Disappointing...

Having recently moved back to Dallas, I was excited to live near Addison with all of it's wonderful restaurants!! But I'm really just a seafood junkie. I've been to Oceanaire, Remington's, Trulucks and now Chamberlain's, and was disappointed with all but one. Chamberlain's, unfortunately, is toward the bottom of the list, especially if you factor in price and service!!
I eat at Houston's regularly and consider their service to be a 9/10, Chamberlain's is maybe a 6/10. Their food was a 4/10, and the atmosphere is a stuffy 6/10. Unfortunately, it was the price v. quality issue for me; I simply can't justify spending over $180 with tip for seafood that had obviously been previously frozen and was over-cooked, their "lump crabmeat" crabcake had pieces of imitation crab in it.
Disappointed
Best Seafood and Service

What a great restaurant!! You can tell that this is a well run restaurant. All the food we ate was superb. My wife had the Steak and Lobster and it was the best she ever had. The Steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster was sweet and tasty. I had the Seabass and it was the best piece of fish I have ever had. My brother had the Scallops and they were perfect. The server was as good as it gets. He was very accomdating and helpful with our special requests and recommended a great wine to compliment the meal.......perfection!
- Pros: Awsome Food and service
- Cons: none
Did Not Meet My Expectations

My husband and I ate at Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill for our anniversary. He played it safe and ordered the pecan crusted trout and enjoyed it. I love scallops and order them whenever I see them on a menu. So, I ordered the Maine Diver Scallops and was very disappointed. Overall the flavor was good, but for a restaurant of this caliber, you would not expect to bite into ocean grit with each chew of a scallop... gross! I have had scallops at mid-level seafood restaurants and no ocean grit, so I know it's not an inherent thing when ordering scallops. Will not be running back to Chamberlain's any time soon.
- Pros: Great Bread and Herb Garlic Butter

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last month and it was absolutely amazing. Hands down best birthday dinner I've ever had. He planned it so that the date fell on the day there was a cooking demonstration AND wine dinner - so thoughtful! I remember my first course vividly because the alcohol paired with the dish was something i've never tried. It was a mango crabmeat roll with a saketini made with tyku. The mango in the roll complimented the citrusy taste of the drink perfectly! I also really liked the last dish of the banana rum flambe with plum wine. I still smile when I think of dinner at chamberlains, thanks for such a great experience!!
- Pros: great atmosphere, amazing service, fresh seafood
