AWESOME!!!!!. This is the best mexican food in plano! My husband and I eat there at least 3x a month! The prices are great! The service is great! And the Fajitas are outstanding!! Best deals on margaritas in town!! I HIGHLY recommend this place :)

Plano's BEST Mexican Restuarant. We first experienced Posada's fare at Mercados in Tyler Texas - the parent restaurant. When we moved back here we were delighted to find they had opened in Plano. The food starting with the best salsa and complimentary hot flour tortillas through the main course - from fajitas to enchiladas to tortilla soup to the complimentary Sopapillas for dessert - is superb. We have taken many friends and relatives to Posada's in Plano, always with the same result - the service and food are heads and shoulders above similar restaurants in the area - even the pricier and fancier ones .

Great ritas. margaritas were great and strong, The food is always HOT AND FRSH. Best food around. I would recommend it to everyone

GREAT FOOD BEST IN TOWN. THE FAJITAS WERE HOT ANF FRESH < HANDMADE TORTILLAS< SERVICE WAS FAST SOME OF THE BEST TEX MEX IN DFW WE WILL BE BACK

the service was soooo bad. the service was the worst ever..we went there and sat down for 10 minutes when they finally gave us the menu. They did not even ask for our orders nor ask for drinks.when this guy finally comes he asks around to who was taking us but noone came forward. this waitress sat there looking at us doing nothing at all. they got our food orders wrong and they did not even start making my drink until thi guy told them to do so. i hated this place and i am never going back again...

Fantastic Fajitas. First time visit to Posado's in Plano. Really didn't have very high expectations, but was very surprised by the quality of the food (beef fajitas), service, etc. Would highly recommend.

Superb Dining!. Posados Cafe is an excellent family restaraunt with the feel of a little mexico cantina. I t is beautifully decorated and our server Adrian was phenomenal. Thanks for everything Posados, and we'll be back!

High-quality, inexpensive Tex-Mex makes a vibrant showing in this festive, family-friendly cantina.. The Scene
Outside, neon signs and a good dose of Vegas flash beckon drivers to exit off Central. Inside, the look morphs into tavern-meets-fun-house-meets-hacienda. A self-serve ice cream machine near the door excites the kiddies. Diners sit at '50s-style diner tables with chrome lining, all stocked with honey bottles. An outdoor patio flanks the two large indoor dining rooms.

The Food
A chunky, spicy salsa and thin, warm chips make it hard to stop at one. Velvety queso and hot tortillas are equally enticing. Tortilla soup with a rich, hearty stock tastes homemade. Fajita lovers get a choice of beef, chicken, shrimp or quail. The juicy marinades add heat, and the chef doesn't overcook the beef. Fresh guacamole and a choice of charro, refried or black beans complement the meat. Chili rellenos boast a well-balanced ratio of crunch, filling and spice. Free sopapillas and soft-serve cones bring out the inner kid in all.
