Addison >Mercy Wine Bar
This place is one of the best places to go to! They have some fun activities in here and some shows on the weekend. They also have some tasty cocktails in here.
Great food, Great atmosphere.
I was a bit suprised to read some of the reviews that complained about the prices of the food and wine at Mercy's....So I will attempt to address those issues.
My date and I had a wonderful evening at Mercy's. The food was absolutely delicious and prices were very reasonable for quality food prepared to perfection.
When I say reasonable prices, I am talking about a truely well prepared main course dishes for less than $20 each. About what you would pay at most chain restaurants but that's where the comparison ends. Portions at Mercy's might be a bit smaller, but much more satisfying when you can take the time to enjoy all the complex flavors and aromas that are present.
The aroma from the plates was so intoxicating that my date hoped the waiters would not rush to take away the the empty plates...LOL
The waiters were friendly and extremely knowledgable about the wines and all the dishes. They knew exactly how each dish was prepared, as if they were the chef.
We had a nice imported German Rieseling wine at only $5 per glass, which is on par with the prices charged at most restuarants or perhaps even a little cheaper than a lot of places I have been,,,They did have some very expensive wines at over $250 per bottle, but that just shows the depth and variety of the their wine list which meets the tastes and budget of anyone.
Yes, you can buy most bottles of wine cheaper at most liquor stores or discount centers, but they certainly don't have the atmosphere or service that you get a Mercy's. Most restuarants make most of their money on the wine and drinks than they do on the food, and Mercy's is no different... it is a Wine Bar !!
This is one of the best restuarants and most enjoyable meals I have experienced since leaving Europe, and I look forward to going back to Mercy's very soon.
very nice place. I am new in Dallas so I am trying a lot of places. The staff here really knows wine. We had 4 in our party and we all just told the waiter what we wanted. He picked and none of us were disappointed. Setting out side was a treat. The place just felt good.
Wonderful Date Night with my Wife. Fantastic find, great waiter who possessed a great knowledge of his wines. Price for wine and food is the going rate for an experience like this. You have to try the cheese plate. Price is right for an experience like this $22 for a great filet, all they need is bread pudding on the menu and I would never leave!
Great!!!. Wine, food and service was awesome. Loved the atmosphere.
Great Atmosphere, Fine Wine and Yummy Food Makes Mercy a Winner!.
I love Mercy! Great food, amazing wine, cool surroundings and funky music. Very Romantic too!!
Wonderful place to either start or end the evening, I 100% recommend Mercy!
Merci Wine Bar. Mercy Wine Bar is one of my favorite places in Dallas! The entire experience is wonderful and enjoyable, regardless of how many people you go with. A little expensive, the food and wine are worth every penny. I recommend the flights of wine chosen by the servers. He or she asks your preferences and brings out three wines that never disappoint. Mercy is great for any occasion, you find yourself returning frequently. This is one of the true great finds in Dallas!
Could they make the sign smaller???. Very laid-back, great place to relax if you can find it. The back room is nice, no pressure place to unwind.
Fabulous Wine Selection-Great Food Choices. Mercy Wine Bar makes an ordinary night out extraordinary. A chic urban spot that delivers the comfort of your best friend?s home with a staff that makes your evening special. A wine list that is so expansive you can travel anywhere in the world if only for a few hours. The menu is flexible so you can enjoy a few appetizers or just dessert matched with the perfect wine or a full dinner selecting just the right wine for each course. It will be your favorite night spot.
Just like my predecessor said. Looks nice on outside, but EXTREMELY overpriced on the inside.
The appetizers were hot and fresh. Ordered the mussels, bruchette and fries. Then got a 52.00 bottle of Conundrum I could've gotten at costco for 20.99. I would not pay 140.00 for a bottle of Silver oaks nor 40 for la crema. The service was average but if you're putting utility maximization on an X to Y linear graph, my experience was not plottable.
