BEST GREEK FOOD AROUND. I recently moved to Texas from the northeast and thought I'd move down only to BBQ and Mexican food. I was thrilled to try Zorbas and found it to be the best Greek food around! There are a few other Greek restaurants in the area and Zorbas (hands-down) beats the competition. I am Greek and am used to homemade dishes back home. All of the meals here are JUST like I've grown up with. I couldn't believe it. My husband and I go to Zorba's 1-2x a month and LOVE IT!

Catered my daughter's wedding. If ever you want great food and/or service, Zorba's is where you need to go. I was lucky enough to sample Zorba's food while on a trip to see my daughter in Plano. It was then that she announced she wanted Zorba's to cater her wedding reception. This was a great decision. Zorba's was very reasonable to feed 150 people and the owner Paul was awesome to work with. They day of the wedding, Paul's people showed up, set up and even stayed to ensure everything was running smoothly. We had no worries are issues and they made my daughter's wedding day the best she could ever hope for. People asked if we would ever cater again with Zorba's. My answer is simple - YOU BET! I now wish Zorba's would open a restaurant in Denver as I would eat there all the time. Thanks Paul and Zorbas for making my daughter's wedding wonderful. You are the best. Stacy

Gyro plates are awesome. Nice atmosphere. Their gyro plates are awesome, beyond moussaka/pasticcio that's all I ever really crave.

I've gone with a couple friends who were stationed in germany and they didn't like the gyros here, but I believe the doner kebabs there are usually real lamb?

AWESOME GYROS!!. Our favorite place for a good Gyro. Try the gyro salad if you are on the 'low carb' hype, it is AMAZING!!!

Our Favorite Greek Dining Experience. We have been dining at Zorba's since they opened and still find it to be one of the best Greek dining experiences in the DFW area. The food, service & prices are excellent for Plano dining and with the BYOB policy you can save more than enough for both the flaming cheese and great deserts. For a fun & casual place to dine with out of town family members & friends we always choose Zorba's. Thxs. to Paul, Sally and the great staff for always taking such great care of your customers.

Kids are full paying customers too!. I have visited this restaurant many times for lunch and have enjoyed the food. I suggested Zobra's to my family based on my past experience and was very disappointed. My Greek salad which is typically good was the worst lettuce and tomatoes I have had. The kids' menu was also a disappointment....Unhealthy and too expensive (drink is not included in the price - almost $8.00 per child). Also, the wait staff and management are very unfriendly and do not buy into "customer service."

I would not recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food and atmosphere!!. It was my first time going and I loved it. We were able to bring our own wine which saved alot of money and the wait staff was not only attractive but very helpful with chosing a dish. We started with the hummus and the saganaki (flaming cheese appetiser) and tore it up. I shared a plate of the lamb shank ( I had heard that the portions were big and they were) and the plate was clean. I will definately go back again and again!!

Editorial Review. Lively family-owned Greek restaurant in Plano serves authentic dishes and homemade desserts in a comfortable casual atmosphere.

Great Neighborhood Greek. Zorba's does the "flaming cheese" appetizer in the tradition of many Chicago Greek eateries. Not sure how authentic this is, but it's a fun appetizer to order even if just for the show. Food quality is always excellent at Zorba's, desserts never disappoint and portions are huge. Zorba's doesn't serve alcohol and there is a $2.50 corkage fee for bringing your own wine. They really should have the waiters open your bottle of wine since they're charging a fee instead of just leaving the corkscrew on the table. Another minor complaint is that they charge extra for extra pita bread.

Fun little greek place. This place is fun and a good value. Order the fried cheese. They light it on fire and make a big production. Also, you can bring your own bottle of wine. They have a small corking fee, but it is nice to eat outdoors or indoors. I'd go back.
