Dirty Dusty!. Anytime someone comes in to visit Dallas, I always make sure I take them by City Tavern to start the night off with a Dirty Dusty for $4. I big ol' shot a jack and a PBR, its the tops. Also great staff.

Coolest Be Yourself Bar w/Personality. I'm born and raised here, and have been to many a bar around the country. If you seek a cool relaxed setting, where it does'nt matter who you are, or where you're from, City Tavern will always be HOME.

Shout out to Josh, Misha, Dusty, Alicia, Canice, Toby, all the cooks, and anyone else I can't name. KEEP IT REAL DALLAS, TERRANCE OUT!

You've got to check this place out. This is my favorite spot in Dallas! It has a great neighborhood bar feel to it, and their selection of beers is quite impressive. But what really keeps me coming back to this place is the staff. They are amazing and I cannot sing their praises enough. There is also a second level that is great for having parties, or you could play a couple games of pool instead. As so many pretentious, soulless bars keep popping up in Dallas, it's refreshing to know we still have places like this in our town. Kudos to the City Tavern!

We love this place!. We LOVE this place. It's even great for big parties- we had our wedding reception here!!!!! (in the upstairs)

Downtown hangout offers beers on tap, lunch and dinner menus, and a place to play pool and watch TV.. In Short
Brick walls, wooden tables and chairs, and a welcoming waitstaff greet patrons at this hangout. Two pool tables upstairs, 10 big-screen televisions and a Golden Tee machine add to the laid-back feel. Lunch and dinner menu options are typical salads, sandwiches and chicken baskets; appetizers include quesadillas, fried mozzarella and spicy wings. Drink choices are notable--40 bottled beer choices, 16 drafts and 11 varieties of wine.

The best ruben!. Wow, I went there for lunch and had the best reuben sandwinch I have had in a looonnng time! the food was great. I came alone so I sat at the bar and the people there were like a cheers. Very friendly and chatty. When I left I felt sastisfied from my lunch , service and the company. It's a great place,I haven't been there for the bands, but I can say you should really try their food!
