Fun & Eclectic Shopping Heaven!. If you are looking for a unique gift, this is the place to go! They have a cool selection of furniture from around the world, tons of great lamps, scrumptious hand poured candles, gorgeous vintage Chanel jewelry and countless other great finds...and then I went upstairs and found a quaint new boutique called New Harmony--they sell all sorts of eco friendly goods- comfy yoga clothes dyed with plants (very attractive colors), natural body sprays, and all sorts of charming recycled stuff. The courtyard behind the shop is a great place for parties too, my friends threw me a baby shower there, such a relaxing place in the middle of the big city. Bottom line, if you want something unique, this IS the place to go AND you can support local small businesses!

My favorite candles!. I am addicted to good smells...they are required in my home. This place has the BEST candles I have ever found and they are only $8. Highly recommended from a candle crazy girl.

THIS PLACE SUX!. The bad reviews we've been reading couldn't be more true! We've been to this place and the lady in charge (owner?) is one of the sorriest excuses for a businessperson we've ever seen! She was rude, snide and yes! She did appear to be tipsy at 10:30 on a weekday morning! We'll never go back here and anyone who does after reading a few consumer review sites is crazy! Bye!

Cute store with great gift items. Hadley & Harriet has everything from gift items to clothes to furniture to art. The store has odd hours but it's a great place to find unique items for the home or for a friend. I've found some beautiful pieces of furniture at very affordable prices. The owner is very helpful and has helped me in selecting gifts for friends and family. A great find in Dallas!

Awesome Candles. What a great shop, my mom and I had lunch at the rest next door and were happy to stumble upon Hadley & Harriets - the selection of candles were great. The candle I purchased did not even need to be lighted to send a great fragrance through my living room. It is not open all the time, so I would call ahead - but worth the trip!!!

Perfect Place to Shop. I have been shopping at Hadley & Harriets for years and have always encounterd the most delightful people and great things to buy. I am not sure if this is an ex employee writing these "Bad" reviews, but I know they are not being truthful. Shop her you will love it as well.

Bad Taste, Less Filling. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! We couldn't have been more disappointed on our visit to this place. The woman (owner?) was rude and snide (I guess she thought we were 'just browsing'), the merchandise selection was pedestrian and uninspired at best and when she told us to ask for correct prices because she was changing all the tags because "I just have to spend too much on overhead since gas prices went up", weell, that was the final straw! We WON'T be shopping here again!

Worst Service Ever. The lady at this place could not have been RUDER! From unlocking the front door (after keeping us waiting in the sun) to making up ourageous prices (we were driving an expensive car) to her snotty, condescending attitude, the experience couldn't have been worse! If you want to feel like you're beeing ripped off and insulted, shop here! If you want pleasant, professional service and real prices, shop anywhere else! We don't need this kind of dump in Dallas!

Great store for gifts and home decor in Uptown Dallas. Upon walking into Hadley & Harriet, I was surprised by the size of the store and the selection of items they carried. The store is in a restored home and has TWO STORIES of gift items, furniture, clothing, and all kinds of nick-nacks for the home. The items they carry are very unique and the prices are reasonable. You can get a sweet smelling candle for $8 and I saw some really cute earrings for $5. They had a beautiful wooden coffee table for only $350 and a couch that was featured on the cover of the Neiman's catalogue for $3000 (normally $12,000). With the variety of items they carry there is truley something for all tastes and styles. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend H&H if you are looking for a new place to shop in Dallas for anything unique and fun!

Wonderful Store. Stopped into Hadley and Harriet today, what a lovely, charming and just amazing find. I was in search of a one kind gift for a friend and happen to come across these Hand Poured Candles that are made here locally. The CAKE BAKE candle is just wonderful. The gifts, furniture, one of a kind candels ... much much more, will keep you browsing for ever!!! Definetly, if you are in the area stop by!!!!
