I have been coming to Smile Island Dental for over 6 years and my kids love Dr. Patel. They have never been scared to come to the dentist. Dr. Patel is very patient with all the kids.

Dr. Patel has cared for the dental health of my three children for the past decade. Shortly after moving to Dallas, we found Dr. Patel through Dallas Child Magazine. After researching her credentials and customer reviews, we decided to see her for our oldest child's first dentist visit when he was 4. Having a fear of dentists myself, I sought a dentist who would allow me to be present in the room with my child, as well as someone who had a gentle bedside manner and was good-natured with children. In addition to these requirements, Dr. Patel's experience was particularly impressive, as she also serves to instruct dental students at Baylor's College of Dentistry! Dr. Patel has exceeded our expectations through the years, and our family has loyally grown with her and thrived under her care. Our children are on the doorstep of transitioning to adult dental care, and because of their childhood dental experiences with Dr. Patel, they have no fear of maintaining a healthy smile. We highly recommend Rupande Patel for pediatric dentistry!
