Pei Wei has very poor quality food and inflated prices. Pei Wei - gross, cheap, and over hyped!.
I work near Pei Wei in Dallas, TX. (the Knox location), and every time we have an office lunch and we order Pei Wei I am grossly disappointed. Their Lo Mein is nothing more that flavor less Raman Noodles with (in this case) chewy beef that looks as if were boiled. 3" long Green Onions (poor looking) all over the place, and foul smelling (again looks boiled) mushrooms. In short this "meal" is a wreck. This is only my Opinion and I know that so many other people enjoy Pei Wei. I have only eaten there 6 times, but each time I am newly disappointed. How did this place even get off the ground? Has everyone in the metropolitan areas of our country forgotten what good Asian food looks & tastes like? This is the equivalent to a fast food stop with inflated prices and lots of marketing spin.
I will skip lunch next time my office orders from Pei Wei.
Great Flavors and So Many Choices!.
I am so very glad there is a Pei Wei close to my neighborhood. I've found myself in love with the Orange Peel Beef with noodles!
Every visit has been comfortable because of the service and the atmosphere. I really like the wallcolors and overall design of the place. Nice lighting, too.
I try to avoid dinner hours from Thursday through Sunday at the Central 75 location. Lousy parking layout.
Quality Asian cuisine on the quick at this chain location near Knox Street..
In Short
Red carpeting and small bistro-style tables provide a comfortable interior for diners at Pei Wei Asian Diner. The express-service hotspots located all over the metroplex feature flavors from Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Korea and China. Dishes are individually prepared and made to order using Mandarin-style woks. Popular entrees include the Asian chopped chicken salad (shredded chicken, assorted lettuce, Napa cabbage, carrot and Thai basil), the Pei Wei spicy chicken salad (wok-seared chicken, and a lime vinaigrette.)
