I Eat It Every Day..
I work right next to Breadwinners and eat there constantly, have been for two years now. If I didn't do manual labor for a living, I'd probably be 30 pounds heavier. I love a place where everybody knows your name. LOVE Shrek and Mike, though everyone takes good care of me. I'll only stop visiting when (if) I go back to being Vegan.
THIS place is EXCELLENT!!.
On our first trip to Bread Winners a few months ago- after finding it on City Search, since we wanted something new- we were pleasantly surprised! First off we were seated quickly- though there are times you will need to wait 10-15 minutes on a busy day. The establishment is upscale yet casual and they serve bits of flavored breads while you wait to order, The service was excellent and the food was absolutely PERFECT- if not a little in excess!! The price is quite affordable for the food that you will recieve and even though we drive 45 minutes to get there- We look forward to the trip every couple of weeks since the initial visit. and have yet to be disappointed with ANY of the menu items we have tried- and always leave with a loaf of bread for the next week. WeI highly recommend this place!!

Bread Winners is worth the hour drive it takes me to get there. The food is excellent and the desserts are too awesome. It is not uncommon for me to completely skip my entree and have a bowl of soup or a salad and then indulge in a slice of their cake and a cup of coffee. I recommend that if you're in Dallas visiting you go by. I'm relocating soon and I guarantee you it will be on the top of my list of places that I miss in Dallas.
Restaurant and bakery offer a sophisticated mood and treats for any occasion.. In Short This Addison location came after the original spot in Uptown. The smell of pastries and homemade breads carries through to the restaurant. With a casual dress code and upscale menu, the separate night and day hours offer different fare--a mimosa and smoked salmon scrambler for brunch; grilled portobello sandwich for lunch; crayfish-stuffed sea bass filet for dinner.
