In Short – In 2003, the Nasher Sculpture Center opened its doors, giving the public an opportunity to view Raymond and Patsy Nasher's 50-year-old collection. Masters like Matisse, Picasso, Miro, Giacometti and Moore have several pieces on display. Smaller, more intimate pieces stand alone in three spacious pavilions underneath barrel-vaulted, light-filtered glass ceilings. Monumental pieces extend almost seamlessly through glass doors into a lush, tree-lined garden area. The Center's lower level houses light-sensitive pieces.
