In Short – This Preston Road spot sports a casual, sleek contemporary look with wood floors, diner-style chairs and tables topped with white cloths and red tent-folded napkins. Oriental paintings adorn the white walls. The extensive menu offerings range from traditional Chinese fare to more adventurous Shanghai offerings. Sweet-and-sour soup and egg rolls are among the appetizer selections; main dishes in generous portions include lo mein, steamed pork dumplings, Shanghai-style duck and spicy scallops and shrimp in garlic sauce.
Authentic Shanghai Cuisine

Wow, awesome xiaolongbao (juicy steamed buns), awesome salted duck, awesome soups, very authentic Shanghai cuisine. Fresh ingredients, very friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely revisit.
- Pros: Great food (reminds me of food in Shanghai!), friendly service
- Cons: horrible wine list
Great food with an ok ambiance and service

The food is very good quality. I enjoy the Chicken with String Beans in Garlic Sauce. They also have a Shrimp & Asparagus dish that usually turns out quite well. There are occasional lapses, but they will try to fix them. Lunch specials are a steal. On the downside, their wine list is truly atrocious. It was better when it was BYOB. The location is not great either.
- Pros: Tasty food, Inexpensive, Friendly
- Cons: Inappropriate wines, Passable service, Ambiance
