The Deep Ellum Ad-libs group of Dallas
was really bad last night!!! It was obvious that no matter what the audience suggested the group was going to turn it into the same old skits they always do; which means it's going to get dirty and crude just to try to get a laugh!
On top of how poorly the group acted the lead actor was very rude and even called one of the audience members an idiot just because he didn't like the suggestion they gave him. He probably didn't like it because he didn't know how how to fit it into his cookie cutter skit.
So then, if the acting wasn't bad enough, the place has a 2 drink minimum, but they didn't have ice, cups, or all the drinks on the menu.
It was a huge disappointment and way too expensive for what you get. DON'T waste your money. There are better comedy clubs in Dallas and Fort Worth!!!

They are Awesome!. I am ashamed to say, but I posted a FAKE review. A group of friends and I all went to Ad-Libs last weekend and had a great time. The next day, a few of us ended up at a pool party where we ran into one the the Ad-Libs guys. Many beers later one of our group somehow got into a disagreement with the Ad-Libs guy. In our drunken state, we made poor judgment and decided to write bad reviews to get even. Now sober, I am so sorry. I love Ad-Libs and will continue to attend their great show. Please forgive me.

They are TERRIBLE!. A complete waste of an evening. If you're looking for an entertaining show, don't come here! The show was so bad we got up and left after an hour.

Neat trick coward. Make a false profile and then write a bad review because you are angry Ad-Libs didn't hire you for the job. Pathetic!
