DO NOT PURCHASE cake from HERE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Me and My daughter just hosted a Baby Shower for 30+ people and we decided to go with The Cake Stand because it was close to home and read some of the good reviews on here. BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER will I get a cake from them again! We ordered a simple 1/2 sheet cake for $60. The look of the cake at first was ok... then 1 hr before the Shower started we took the cake from the fridge (as we were told to do) and placed it in the center of the snack table. We noticed within 15 mins the icing was cracking in the front and bubbling out on the sides... We go to cut the cake and icing falls COMPLETELY off the cake! Dont get me wrong, the cake had a great taste, BUT it LOOKED AWFUL! Sad thing is, it was embarrassing! Everyone asked where we purchased it from and said they had NEVER seen a cake do what this one had done... it was awful! Serving it was a NIGHTMARE! So then we called and talked to the owner the following Tuesday (closed Sun & Mon), and she told us we were Stupid and Crazy, that she knows her cakes and that it DID NOT do that! BUT we took pictures and will be taking them into her! If youd like to see them as well, email me!

CONCLUSION is... DO NOT PURCHASE cake from here! Horrible Horrible Horrible Experience!!

Best Cakes in DFW

My wife and I were in a hurry. Our best friend put us in charge of getting his wife, another best friend, a cake for her birthday...3 hours before we were meeting them for dinner! We quickly called up The Cake Stand because we heard great things about them. They set us up with a batch of cupcakes on the fly. We picked them up within 45 minutes of the order which gave us enough time to go home and get ready for the night out. That is not even the best part. These cupcakes were the absolute best cupcakes I could have ever even dreamed of. Topped with plenty of rich creamy icing and an awsome surprise in the middle of the cake. We are going back Friday to pick up a cake for my sons birthday! I am getting older but this year I am looking forward to my birthday because of The Cake Stand!

• Pros: Incredible Taste
• Cons: Pricy but worth it
