ThevReal Deal Holyfield!!!!. Hooked up over there for happy hour, which is from 3-7, and let me tell ya, there's nothing like a 2 dollar pint. You know when your boy not once, not twice, but continually tells you, "THIS IS THE CLOSEST THING YOU'RE GONNA FIND TO NEW ORLEANS THIS SIDE OF THE MISSISSIPPI!" you gotta check it out. Well he was talking about the party they have every Sunday night, but I'm trying to tell y'all bout they food!! Man! Ain't nobody cooking real gumbo in restaurants over here, gumbo takes hours (when I say hours I mean 6+) and to have to do that multiple times a week ain't worth it to the big boys, but it is to Nate!! Look it ain't the best gumbo I ever had, but its in the top 10! (4 of those 10 are friends and family)

Lunch time is what's up, prices are in favor of those who eat out 3+ time per week. And they serve lunch till 4.

Overrated-- but at least friendly service. After hearing great things from friends and reading good reviews, I decided to try Nates. Well, for a cajun seafood place, the food was surprisingly lacking spice and real flavor. My sister had bland mahi mahi and my friend shrimp and catfish was okay, but i've had more flavor at Razzoos. I probably wouldn't go back unless somebody can recommend a dish with more flavor. When you end up pouring your garlic bread's butter all over your food for some kind of flavor, it's not good.
