Hip historical nightspot at Knox/Henderson offers upscale comfort food plus a few light menu choices.. In Short
This stylish restaurant incorporates a taste of history into its décor amongst huge iron light fixtures, wine racks and trimmings. A comfortable bench lines one wall allowing four tables of couples to have a cozy romantic meal. A bar at the very end of the one-room restaurant invites guests to stay for a signature drink. Upscale comfort food is the menu theme with standard meat and potato options yet taste is far from standard. The tender eight-ounce filet and the delicately flaky sea bass are other popular picks. The only suitable way to end a meal at Hector's is to order the candied apple filled with a cinnamon crème brulee-a signature favorite. -

Ms. I went there with a co-worker for lunch and had a great time. The food was great!!! We had the btlc and the shrimp poboy. Would recomend this to every one that I know.

Hector's Hits The High Notes!. The Best Thing to Come along in 2004 was Hector's On Henderson! From the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcomed and at home. It's a small place, and the seating is quite tight on a weekend night, but hey if that's the price you have to pay to have this great a time then count me in.

The Chicken Livers are better than Grandma used to make. Or try the Tiger shrimp on Cheddar Cheese Grits. Heaven, simply heaven.

But the Big Plates are even better, Not Your Mama's Meatloaf is a showstopper. The Sea Bass melts in your mouth, and the portions; though generous are not overwhelming, so Save room for dessert.

The Wine list is dynamite, it is priced to sell wine, and from the looks of the tables that were all around me it does a good job of it.
