He asked what I wanted the tattoo to be and I showed him one already on my arm, and a picture of a bird that I wanted added onto it. He glanced at the tat on my arm and the picture I was holding and said, "Yeah. That's not gonna happen." I walked right out of the shop and went to Royal 1 in Ft Worth where Troy spent 15-20 mins on my initial visit looking at what I wanted, and then at my appt spend another 30 mins on the drawing, making it perfect, and 3 hours on the tat itself. Needless to say, he got a lot of my money and I was happy to give it to him.
Ace's is ok. Got a tatoo for my birthday and I wasn't too impressed.Talked to owner Eric 3 days before. He wanted to schedule me for a certain time. I wanted Thursday but he was getting married & the shop would be closed. Cool. Friday was out completely for me. He said Saturday...noon. And he reitterated several times, you'll be here at 12 right? I was. First one in the door but somehow I wasn't really because they were scheduled but I wasn't. I was told to come back at 2pm for my 30 minute tatoo. Blew my whole day out because of course I waited forever! THen when I was getting it, Jay, who was the most dull dude ever, I don't think he smiled or tried to make me comfortable once. I mean, I don't expect you to sing & dance but hairdressers, dentists, waiters, gynocologists, wtf ever are working to make you happy right? Even for a tip! No, not even that did he try to be nice. I think he just wanted me out of there. And, yall, i'm pretty hot and pretty cool too. He was a real "male member" if you ask me. Then they screwed up my cc...whatever. They said it happens all the time but its not their fault; its the bank's. All different banks making the same mistake to all their clients. No big deal really though but a pain. They ring in the cost of the tat total and somehow the total with the tip. So $50 and then $70 ($20 tip)....I paid $50 in cash. The other $50 charge dropped off a week later. But it was my debit card so it kinda sucked for me. I don't hate the place but I wouldn't go back.
