I've had way better! Not even a little good.. This is the first review I have ever written in my life but I feel like it should be said. I got the brisket and sausage and was not impressed at all. The food is overpriced, the brisket was too fatty and under cooked, and the sausage tasted no different than Jimmy Dean. I’m a brisket lover and I always get brisket when I eat BBQ. I’ve eaten brisket all across this great nation, north, south, east and west and I’m proud to say that Texas has the best. However, I’m ashamed to now say that the worst brisket I’ve ever had is in Texas too. I never thought I would say that a Texas BBQ joint would have bad brisket but Rudy’s you have pulled it off. Don’t waste your time or money.

Great BBQ. Rudy's had a GREAT selection of BBQ. Anything from brisket to sausage, breakfast burritos, potato salad, beans, bread, stuffed baked potatos and much more. The atmosphere is good and the prices are very reasonable for BBQ. My family goes here all the time!

A Real Texas Experience. If you want that great Central Texas-style taste, this is the place. You get your meats served on butcher paper, very well-smoked. They've got great sides, too. Try the brisket or ribs without the trademark 'sause' next time you go. Fantastic!

Not what I expected. The entire dining area looks like a picnic table with bench style seating and paper towel dispensers all over the walls. Everything is served up sliced and you get a stack of bread and you can choose to make your own sandwiches if you like. Though the decor is not up to par for me, the food was quite good. We got a little turkey, sausage, and beef and all of those were really smoked right and flavorfull. Try it at least once if you haven't yet.
