Going Down Hill.... I have been going to Spa Habitat since 2009. I've been to both the Uptown and Plano locations. I can say this about their services: Organic back therapy: so-so, not the best massage, the pampering part was great

Flower Power Facial: Typical

Ultrasonic Facial: Amazing, out of this world, does wonders for my skin!

Bikini Wax: Painful

Annie is by far the best at facials. She offered great advice and seemed genuinely concerned about helping me look my best.

And yes, they do push products on you. However, if not for this tactic I would have never discovered In Fiore. It is high priced but is an amazing product.

Generally, with the ultrasonic facials they use this product on me at my request, no problem. As I was once told, if you are getting one of the most expensive facials on the menu you should use the best products we have. During my last facial I was informed it would be an additional $20 to use that line of product (despite the fact I use it at home and always purchase from you?!) Putting my facial up to $160? No thanks! We used Clovertree instead. Further, I think the woman who worked on me was a massage therapist. She was clumsy (banging stuff around, hitting my table with her chair, dropping items), did not offer to do extractions, and did not follow the usual pattern of using the ultrasonic machine...but she gave one heck of a neck and shoulder massage.

With that said, I feel like I paid $140 for a so-so facial. If I can find another spa in the area that offers ultrasonic facials I would definitely go elsewhere.

Spa Habitat. I went to spa habitat for Mother's Day, and took my mom and sister along with me for a spa day. It turned out to be a big disappointment. I read the reviews of people's experience at spa habitat and thought this must be a great spa. We arrived about thirty minutes before our appointment time and was greeted with a smile and a warm neck pillow, however we went to set and fill out paperwork and staff was running around like they were overwhelmed and one of them had a really nasty attitude. It was hard to relax, the place was overbooked and did not have adequate space for clients to sit and be comfortable. When it came time for mines and my sister massage we were rushed. I felt as though I was rubbed down with oil instead of massaged. There's a BIG difference in a rub down and a massage. I found the prices to be extremely high for the quality you get. Overall this place was a little below average for me, there are good places in Plano where you can get a great massage for a cheaper price.

Spa Habitat=painful massage and rude receptionist. I found Spa Habitat through Spa Finder after receiving Spa Finder gift certificates from friends. I loved the idea of things being "natural". I scheduled a massage at the location in Dallas and called to ask for directions after parking. The receptionist sounded annoyed. She maintained this attitude of annoyance with me when I arrived (on time). I have never had a unpleasant massage before going to Spa Habitat, but the massage I got there was PAINFUL, and the girl who gave it to me was as unfriendly and snobby as the receptionist. Such a dissapointment. I have had wonderful experiences at the Aveda Spa on Park Lane as well as the RedDoor Spa across from Northpark. Even massage schools have better massage therapists. I will NEVER return.

Ridiculously Overpriced!. I have been to several day spas in the collin county area and this is one of the most expensive places in the metroplex. The massages are overpriced and they are no better than any other day spa. If you are on a budget then this is not the place to go.

Fantastic Organic Massage!. I have been to Spa habitat and agree that this is an amazing place. The massage and aroma therapy that is provided is top notch. I love the organic aspect of this spa because since everything seems so toxic these days, the last thing I want massaged into my body is toxins! The organic products are hard to find, so I find the offerings convenient and fantastic. I would highly recommend this to any of my Yoga gals that are looking for a great spa with all natural products. Thank you Spa Habitat for being here in Dallas for us.
