I just returned to work after having lunch at Deli News, too. It was great. The sandwiches were almost too big to eat. The Reuben is definitely the best sandwich in Dallas and the matzo ball soup had matzo balls that newarly filled the over-sized bowl. As a topper we shared the whicte chocolate banana pudding. It was the best banana pudding I hae had in my 27 years in Dallas. I wish they gave Advantage miles because I would be planning some big trips for the future.

My business takes me to NYC at least once a month and when I am there I always manage to eat deli two or three times. Until now, there has been nnothing like it in Dallas. However, Deli-News, too is incredible. They bring breads, bagels, meats and fish from New York and prepare like the best New York delis. The Rueben was outstanding and they have a soup menu with 13 or 14 soups made every day. I have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were great. Thoe Dallasites who complain about missing good new York deli can stop complaining now.
Pros: Excellent food, Terrific service, Enormous portions
