I'll never go there again

I'll grant you the trappings inside are nice but a pedicure should not be a cutting spree.

I went there several years ago because they were having a special promotion that made their "way over priced" pedicure affordable. First be aware that they don't have pedicure chairs, rather they use large stainless steel bowls filled with warm water with Rose peddles floating on top. Looks good, but has no function. The manicurist doing my pedicure cut my big toe bad enought that a bandaid was needed. That coupled with the absence of the whirlpool chairs and the outragous prices made it a bad experience that I have never cared to repeat. After all there is a California Nail Salon about 50 feet across the parking lot from them where they do the same thing for 1/2 the price and have the whirlpool chairs. I never lost any toes their either.

• Cons: Bad pedicure -- nicked my toe

Jonas Aveda Salon & Spa is caring and a beautiful experience each time you go!

I have been going to Jonas Aveda Salon & Spa for over 3 years and cannot think of a better place in the Metroplex to trust your hair and makeup experiences to. The staff is always courteous and caring. You are greeted immediately upon entering the beautiful setting they have prepared for you. You are always offered refreshments several times during your visit. You never have to worry if your experience (cut, color, style) will be what you wanted. Trust me, you will always be happy as David Jonas, who happens to be a fantastic colorist and stylist , will make sure you are happy with his work! I have used Aveda products since 1979 and will continue to do so. The products are great. Give them a call and enjoy your tme with truly great beauty professionals.

Their 39 dollar new talent special converted me..

I needed a hair cut for an upcoming interview. I normally go to supercuts or Ogle School of Beauty because I am a student and have little money. However, I decided to splurge. To my surprise they were having a $39 new talent special. My stylist Perla un-did about 5 bad haircuts in a row, was pleasant to talk to, and made me feel pampered. It was a great experience...

• Pros: Friendly, not stuffy... super-nice front staff
• Cons: Aveda products can be a bit expensive
