Great place for all things bakery delicious!. Tart Bakery is a regular weekly stop for me , as well as for parties where they have created just what I wanted and delicious to boot! The staff, lead by the brilliant pastry chef Kristen Massad, are both knowledgeable and accommodating! To me, Tart bakery is the ONLY bakery to go to in Dallas!

great bakery. There is nothing that could be wrong with Tart

because everything is great -- I dont know how

anyone can give a a bad review to the bakery

or the chef....never have been disappointed - always

loved everything and everyone who has eaten her

sweets love them.

there has to be a group of unhappy people who

have nothing better to do than to criticize

CONGRATULATIONS TO TART -- THE CHEF IS

YOUNG AND EXCELLENT - SHE IS BEYOND WORDS

OUR HATS ARE OFF TO YOU

Overpriced Baby Shower. I went to a baby shower at the Legacy location, cute but way overpriced for what they serve. We had nasty tuna & chicken sandwiches on doughy white bread along with some basic drinks. The cake bites were pure sugar and water, made me sick. I could cook better cakes with my eyes closed. Better off throwing your own shower with real food.

Amazing key lime tarts. I was on the search for great key lime pie, and this place has it! It is perfectly tart (the name of the shop had made me hopeful...) and not too sweet. My whole family loved it.

I'm surprised at the previous reviewer's experience - everything was very fresh, and the girl working there was really nice!

Worst food in Dallas!!. We stopped in and had the wost food (6 types of tarts) that we have had anywhere in the metroplex. The tarts that did not taste old (one even had some blue fur on it) tasted bad anyway. We did not try the cupcakes, figuring that if the place is named Tarts, than they should have some good ones. Right? How did this place get voted the best pastry? This is why we went there. Has anyone else been there? It is a hole in the wall with lousy pastry, and the little man that waited on me was very rude to me (telling me to "hurry up", like he did not have all day there!). We will tell our friends not to bother with the place. Save your money!

Best cupcakes ever!!!!!!!!!!. This place smells so good when you walk in. The service is very good. And there cupcakes are very good. They have a different frosting with sugar coating on top different but good. I also ordered chocolate covered strawberries and a mickey cake for my son's party. The strawberries were very big and juicy. The cake was very cute and all my friends loved it. I also ordered mickey cupcakes. There cupcakes have a different frosting with sugar coating on top different but good. I recommend all my friends to go!!!!1

Best tasting and best variety, great price.. Excellent. The store is very warm and welcoming. The desserts are even better and the staff is easy on the eyes and very friendly. After trying the cupcakes, which have by far the best icing in Dallas, I found myself buying one of everything. After almost fainting from the molten truffle cake, the perfectly sweet signature fruit tartlets was a fun way to finish. I left with a pile of fresh made cookies, including their seasonal pumpkin spice cookie and white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, may favorites. I have begun buying everything for my office from Tart and everyone I work with appreciates the value of fresh baked pastries as compared to a grocery store... definitely worth it. The best part is you only need one day for custom order cakes or gift baskets. Also, they make regular sized pastries as well as everything can be made as a miniature... always fun for parties and you don't feel as sinful when they are mini's, even mini cupcakes and petit fours!!!

Lastly, I read in the paper that Tart is opening a second location at the Shops at Legacy in Plano... definitely a good sign of a successful business and good product offering. I have lived in Dallas only 3 years now after living in Italy and NYC and I have a crippling sweet tooth. This is the most authentic NY-style bakery I have seen outside of Soho. I have tried everything and across the board, Tart is the best. If they don't have what you want fresh made that day, they can make it. Anything you want they can make as I discovered the pastry chef is there every day working to perfect every dessert that comes out of the kitchen. Definitely try for a quick walk-in cookie or cake or special order office parties and gift baskets.

Yummy treats, GREAT service!. I had a very last-minute special request, and Tart did a beautiful job in a small amount of time!

They were friendly, and the end product was even better than I expected!

I also tried their fudgy chocolate mini cake, and oh was it good! I have really high standards when it comes to deserts (I have tried my fair share!), and Tart is among the best!

I will definitely be back- this place is a total find! I highy recommend it!

Disappointed sweet tooth. I was unimpressed with Tart. I tried a variety of items - petit fours, cupcakes, lemon bars, and tarts. All tasted like they had been sitting in a refrigerator for quite some time. On top of that - Chocoalte petit fours was dry. Red velvet cupcake had good frosting, the cake itself was bland. Lemon bar was ok. Chocolate caramel tart was chocolately but left me wanting more caramel flavor. I can't vouch for any of the order ahead of time items (cakes and such), as I was a walk-in customer. Overall, I would not go back. Best petit fours I've had so far came from Stein's Bakery.

Creative, Inspiring, and Sinfully delicious treats. A cozy pastry haven in the busy city. Everytime I walk in the door, I am excited to see what creative delights are in the display case. In my humble opinion, it is the best place in dallas for a single cupcake, a dozen cookies, or having dessert catered for a party. As if the savory goodies weren't enough, the employees and owners are extremely friendly and willing to help you pick out the perfect dessert for any occaison. Highly recommended!
