Fluorescent lighting and pale yellow walls give a cheerful glow to this clean, simple restaurant that specializes in pupusas (thin corn patties stuffed with meat and cheese) and tamales. Fried plantains are served hot, sweet and not too greasy with daub of sour cream and a side of black beans. Chef owner Tremino has added several pasta dishes from his days at The Palm such as fettuccine alfredo.
