This wine bar and retail shop is like a comfortable bottle of merlot: rich and dark in color with leather accents all round and a hint of cigar (smoking permitted outside). All the major wine regions and varietals are represented. A Captain's Wall carries high end wines like Dominus and Silver Oak. Diners can pair their selection with cheeses or dates and dolmas offered on the light Mediterranean menu. Staff are more than happy to assist novices.

I love Vino 100 because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I am running in to grab a bottle of wine for dinner the staff has always been able to point me in the right direction and have suggested great wines to go with my meal. I also love going in and sitting on the comfortable sofas or out on their patio which because of the location allows for great people watching. I couldn't suggest a better wine bar in Dallas.

My only complaint about this venue is the bathrooms--one toilet has not worked for over a year, and there are now buckets under the sinks. Kinda disgusting.
