Very Disappointing – 2-3 years ago Campania used to have very good pizza: great crust and good quality ingredients. I just had some for the first time in a while and it was bad. The crust reminded me of the type of pizza crust you'd get from a rock bottom brand at your grocery store's frozen section. The cheese and toppings were about as forgettable as they come. Most of the reviews on here are from some time ago so I don't know if they changed owners or what. If it wasn't for the pleasant memories I have of the place I'd give it a 1 out of 5 stars.
Good pizza in a great atmosphere – The pizza here is fabulous even though it can be a little loud inside. Outside seating is nice in the summer.
Best Pizza so far in Dallas – I am literally eating this pizza as I write. I've been in Dallas, from NY for about a year and I typically just stick to pizza hut :( because all the pizzas ive tried here are pretty bad. This so far has been the best pizza and closest to home. It's slices are a bit thin, and little pricey, but they are hardly skimpy on the sizes of the slice or the toppings. i ordered sausage on mine which I usually dont do, because I do not like most pizza places sausage, but this was incredible. It looks as though it might have pepper on it, but it is not spicy, which I like.... nothing worse than burning your mouth off while trying to enjoy the pizza. The ingredients taste fresh and the smell is amazing.... it is overall really good. The only thing I would recommend is that they start serving an option of thick crust and also that they out wax paper down on their boxes. Because the pizzas so hot, cheesy and fresh it tends to stick to the cardboard box and it is kind of annoying not being able to rip off a full piece. Oh and also there delivery was great. On a friday night, it took maybe 30- 40 mins and the guy found my apt no problem and was really friendly and great.
Best Pizza Place in Dallas!!! – Pizza was great and service was AMAZING!! BYOB and fun outdoor ambiance. We had a large group and because we had to wait (15 minutes) the manager didn't charge us for some of our pizzas!! He was above and beyond accommodating to our table.
Pizza was some of the best in town. Great for large groups! The Nutella dessert pizza is to die for! We were all so impressed with the magagement AND the food that we want to come back weekly. Great spot for an inexpensive but delicious meal, byob, fun setting and incredible service.
We are sold on Campania!!
You have to try this place!!
Inconsistent service – Great pizza, it's true. However, after happily delivering to my home before, Campagnia tonight flatly told me it's "out of area" with no apology. C'mon, it's not good business to act that way toward a loyal customer.
Possibly Authetic Italian, But... – I will admit that I've never been to Italy, and this may be how they make 'em there, but now I know why the chef from New York won the international pizza competition (which took place in Italy)! Sorry, but I'm just not a fan of the thin "cracker" crust--sort of insubstantial to my taste, not filling or satisfying or particularly flavorful. And, yes, the large salads were not exactly large. I'm sure "dainty" eaters really love this place, but for normal appetites or families Dallas has better.
Great food, pretty pricey – The food here is very good, but a little too expensive. I'd go again, but wouldn't become a regular.
Fresh Ingredients & Tasty – We were pleased. The pizza was not oily, crust was just the right thickness, toppings were fresh and the sauce provided a wonderful taste. Service was good and on top of things but then it may have helped it was a Wednesday evening. The salads looked good but appeared overpriced ($8) to have as a side salad with our pizza. We don't eat meat but ordered one of their specialties minus the meat...which still was cheaper than ordering a cheese pizza plus the additional toppings.
Pizza Straight from Napoli, Italia – On a memorable trip to Italy, I experienced pizza at the oldest establishment in Italy (da Michele located in Naples, IT). When I bit into the pizza at Campania for a moment I felt like I was back in Italy. The pizza is mouthwatering and will make your toungue sing! The authenticity is possible because the owners came to America from Napoli, IT only a few years ago. If you are a foodie, this place is for you! And, if you are not, you will still enjoy the pizza, the quaint atmosphere, the great prices and the fact that you can bring your own alcoholic treat!
Most memorable pizza in Dallas – What a place for the best pizza in Dallas. This coming from a native Chicagoan whose hometown has arguably some of the best pizza on earth!
Five out of Five stars for this great new place! A very authentic menu with a great and unusual contrast, like corn as a topping! Yummy..
Another great perk is you can bring your own wine. The wait staff cheerfully brings you nice stemware and a cork screw!
This is a must try establishment! They deliver so dont forget to grab the to go menu!
