The decor is casually elegant with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and a version of Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" from the Sistine Chapel (with a bottle of wine inserted, of course) towering above the bar. There's a shop for purchasing bottles in front, while the lounge area offers a spot to taste the wines before a purchase. Wine is served by the glass, flights and bottles. From the minute my co-worker and I walked in, we experienced the friendliest service that Big D has to offer. From the ambiance to the knowledgeable staff, there was not one detail over looked. Weather youre an occasional wine drinker or an aficionado, you are made to feel right at home. They have more wines by the glass then anywhere I had ever seen. A must try and a must use for any party planner! The owner was even there and made sure that out time spent, was well worth while.
Pros: 50+ wines by the glass
Cons: not enough people know about this hidden treasure

This place is great! If you want to buy wine by the bottle, you can try most of the wines that they carry before you buy it--they sell over 60 wines by-the-glass!!!!! This is also great because, you can get a "taste" of most of the wines before ordering a full glass--so you'll know you're getting what you like. The atmoshere inside is great and they have a really nice patio. It's a fun spot for a girls night out or happy hour, and romantic place to take a date.
Pros: No smoking, but they do have a patio to accomate those of us who enjoy our niccotine.
