In Short
Old City Park is a living-history museum portraying life in North Texas from 1840 to 1910. Composed of 38 historic structures, the main draws are a working Civil War-era farm, a traditional Jewish household and several elegant Victorian homes. The park's mission is to preserve significant Dallas and North Dallas structures and artifacts. A school, church and other commercial buildings are also on the grounds. The entire collection is comprised of more than 25,000 artifacts.

This place is so full of history. I really enjoy meandering through the historical building at the village. We took a cozy carriage ride and listened to carolers who were adored in period costumes.A great place to take a family or school field trip. There is a lot to experience.

Look Good:
Visitors can take a self-paced tour or take a guided tour of the premier Millermore complex and Sullivan house, Tuesday-Saturday at 1:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm.
The Extras:
Old City Park is a unique place to hold wedding receptions, corporate functions, parties and other events. Call for details.
