In Short – Gauchos (Brazilian cowboys) circulate throughout the churrascaria with giant skewers of various cuts of meats; sixteen varieties including spicy Picanha (house specialty), filet mignon, pork loin, and lamb chops are sliced and served tableside. Diners indicate whether they desire more or need a pause by flipping their "rodizio disk" to green or red. Sample traditional Brazilian and American favorites at the dessert buffet (additional $5.95): flan, wine-soaked pears and passionfruit mousse with chocolate.
Rafain - Brazillian Steakhouse At It's Finest
by TheCBob
My son took me here for my 55th Birthday dinner.
This, without a doubt is the best Birthday meal I have ever enjoyed. I have traveled the world over and enjoyed cuisine on every continent, except Antarctica. Who would've thought I would find some of the best food an hour from my home?
Starting with the valet service, everyone of the staff were courteous and professional. The right amount of attention was given to us during the meal. The meal - Oh My! The salad bar had so many wonderful choices, but don't get full there. The meat, brought around continuously is perfectly prepared and served as generous as you desire. The House Special is worth blowing a diet for. Roasted Leg-of-Lamb, tenderloin, smoked sirloin, pork, sausage; all mouth watering. Don't pass up the roasted pineapple sprinkled with cinnamon.
If you still find room; the dessert bar will fill in the empty spots - easily.
My experience tonight will be a treasured memory. Without a doubt, I'll build a few more memories here. ;-)
- Pros: Courteous, professional staff; World class cuisine
- Cons: None I could see
Truly Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse!

My husband and I decided to give Rafain a try. We went there to celebrate Christmas... As a Brazilian, I must say THERE is nowhere else in DFW you can get such great steaks (My favorite was the "costela", or ribs, and the desserts, of course!!!) and awesome treatment (the manager went to our table more than once to make sure we were getting all we liked. I soooo recommend PUDIM (looks like a flan, but it is WAY better) for dessert.
=)
- Pros: Great location, service, value and quality of food!
- Cons: Sorry... Couldn't find one....
Great Customer Service, Great Food.

This is a nice upscale place to enjoy a great meal. The service is excellent, the food is the same. Its upscale but still that jean casual feel. We brought our kids and it was a family friendly environment. I would suggested if you have children to go around 5:00PM becuase it starts getting busy around 7:00PM.
