No Vaseline!. Don't you hate it when you find out later that you have totally been ripped off.

That was exactly my experience with Again and Again. I am not sure why the owner combs local thrift and salvage stores, buys the item for pennies on the dollar and then sells them at record profits of at least 5000%, literally.

I found a chair at the local salvation army for $15 and later saw it again in Again and Again for $600. Really?

I recognize she is in business to make money but that is like giving it to someone raw with no vaseline.

Quaint consigment boutique is home to that next budget buy.. This vintage boutique feeds the jones for affordable fortune in the form of old furniture and home accents. Antique connoisseurs, hip soccer moms and the eclectic type meander through chairs and lounges on the front lawn of this peachy-pink aged bungalow. Rooms boldly painted and densely decorated with merchandise are stocked with one-of-a-kind items. Interior designers nose around and ask the owner and consignment queen about her refurbishing services and customized requests. On the way out, a menagerie of mirrors reflects an Asian umbrella, a midcentury modern table and other pieces that make it impossible to leave.

Not trustworthy. paid in full for a chair, scheduled some minor work to be done, item disappeared not to be found for 4 months. during that time i had infrequent and somewhat patronizing/condescending service only when i demanded it. had i not routinely followed up the item never would have materialized despite being paid in full. in the end i retrieved my item and was actually charged another fee for work that was not done. seems like the owner would, at the very least, waive a $25 fee as a gesture of good will or to set it straight. but the real surprise is that that work was not completed. we will not do business there again, unfortunately.
