Yummy food. Fish City is one of our regular family dinner places. The food is always delicious, but sometimes they skimp on the vegetables in the pot roast dinner. (Menu says potatoes and carrots, not potato and carrot.) Other than that, we love everything we've ever tried there. Rice and beans, roasted jalapeno soup, gumbo, and especially the awesomely tender waffle fries.

Areas Best. After 10+ visits, rarely a disappointment. Love the food, especially the board specials! The soups are rich and wonderful! Waitstaff are great...friendly and have the right combination of being fun, attentive, but non intrusive. We arrived early for the Fat Tuesday celebration and tipped extra as we held our table for the live music. It's a small place, but plenty of room for those up and dancing. Thank you Garland for bringing this place to our neighborhood.

I do ask for the sauces on the side and vegetables without the butter as they can overdo.

Great Seafood, Friendly Staff. The staff always seems to recongnize everyone who lives in this area and the Oyster Nachos are GREAT!!! Don't miss their happy hour margaritas.

Casual local seafood chain popular for shrimp, oysters and catfish, plus a few land options.. In Short
Started by the same folks who created Half Shells and Rockfish, this local chain delivers a similar menu. Brick walls, maritime art on the walls and booths and seats all add to the laid-back ambiance. The seafood dominated menu does have non-seafood options. Oysters in the half shell are among the popular for appetizers. Cajun-influenced entrees include the crab leg platter. Salads, sandwiches and po'boys are also available.
