Hidden gem in University Park. A cozy yet hip restaurant and bar hidden in the back of Hotel Lumen in University Park. The food is a sophisticated twist on classic comfort foods. The flat iron steak was as tender as a tenderloin served with a rich port reduction sauce. The diver scallops were fresh as ever and cooked to perfection. This restaurant could easily be a romantic couple getaway or cool bar to meet friends. Great customer service.

Great service, Awsome Filet, and the best Mac & Cheese ive ever had.. This is a hidden gem. Literaly hidden, in the back of Hotel Lumen. Their are no signs on the street and can be a little hard to find. But it's well worth it. I've been their a couple of times, the first for dinner. We started with mac & cheese and artichoke dip, both were outstanding. Then I had the filet, this was one of the best i've ever had, Served with a flavorful port reduction and veggies, not just veggies, asparagus and baby carrots are the standard veggie side.

I've been back several times for drinks, It has more of an upscale tavern feel so I felt right at home just having a few cocktails with friends. All in all, I've found a new place to hang out or bring a date. My new favorite.

Great atmosphere and great food. The whole package was excellent. I had the flat iron steak and it was so tender, I could cut it with my fork. My husband had the spicy pork loin and loved it. To top it all off with chocolate cake, was the end to a great evening. The place is a really cool get away from the kids. An intimate dinner for two in the corner was just what we needed. The service was also great, very helpful in all the descriptions of the food and wines.

Uninventive, mediocre food, a sad attempt to create classy comfort food.. Socials tucked away location behind Hotel Lumen, among other things, make this restaurant anything but social. The decor seems to resemble something out of a bad horror movie. Although our server was pleasant and accommodating I was very disappointed when we were told over half the white wines listed were not in stock on their already dwindling selection. The best part of our meal was by far the mac and cheese. The veggie wrap was far overdressed and rather unappetizing, burger was very undercooked and didnt seem to resemble Kobe beef, the red snapper was good but nothing to return for, veggies that accompanied were overcooked. I would recommend sticking to the appetizer list at this one.

Unpretentious comfort food and intimate seating are an inviting combination at this restaurant in Park Cities' Hotel Lumen.. The Scene
Plush red velvet banquets, a long polished wood bar, chandeliers, and half-moon, frosted glass sconces create a luxurious-yet-casual hideaway in trendy boutique lodging Hotel Lumen. Two flat-screen televisions behind the bar are usually tuned to sporting events. A private entrance behind the hotel makes it easy to sneak in and out unnoticed if fleeing paparazzi or a bad date.

The Food
Standout starters include the Brie macaroni and cheese: al dente pasta in a rich and creamy bechamel sauce spiked with truffle oil. The seafood gumbo is a hardy mix of tender chicken, sausage, okra, and rice in thick, brown roux. Grilled scallops served with steamed vegetables, beef filet, and roasted halibut--a light and flaky fish paired with asparagus--are solid entree choices. Keep it real by ordering a side of Damn Good Fries. For dessert, homemade blueberry brioche and raspberry mango trifle served in a martini glass are sweet temptations.
